I am throwing a bridal shower and bachelorette in a few months and need ideas!
We already booked a nice restaurant for the bridal shower. Any game ideas??
What about fun bachelorette ideas, no strippers! She does not want any?
Any advice would be great!

None of the parties I ever attended were all that fun - maybe because we were older, all professional, and worried about what would end-up on the internet one day.

One thing I did do for my sister (as her wedding present that could easily be interchanged for your topic) was a wedding night survival kit.

We got a big box, put things in that we thought would be needed on the wedding night (you can make it as clean or as dirty as you prefer) - we included their favorite liquor, ibuprofen, bottled water, etc. We wrapped it in caution tape and included: "Warning: to be opened only by the bride and groom. Not suitable for unmarried or underage persons"

Have a great time.
My best advice is to cater it to the personality of the bride-to-be so she has the best time. I, personally, didn't like games and traditional bridal shower activities, so mine was more subdued, subtle and small (exactly as I wanted it to be).

One idea that I've seen done twice is an "Around the Clock Shower". You assign the shower guests a time of day (24 hour clock) - have them bring a gift that relates in some way to that time of day or night. The evening people might bring lingerie, the morning people might bring something like gourmet coffees, the afternoon people might bring patio dishes - whatever. Let their imaginations run wild. It can be clean or a little risque, as suits the guests & the guest of honor. Enclose a little card in the invitation with the time of day (11 a.m., 9 p.m., 2 a.m. whatver - you make it on the computer and print on card stock) with each invitation and ask the guests to tape that card to the outside of their gift. If you have 12 guests, make the times every 2 hours. If you have more or less, mix it up to have a representation of each time of day.

I hope not to offend you here but---For my bachelorette party we went to a drag show. It was SO MUCH FUN and my girl friends stillllll talk about how it was the greatest one that they'd ever been to, including their own. It's mostly women and gay men in the crowd and the show is of the women signing different songs dresses as that artist. It was a BLAST!

Now the Bachelorette party can be clean and fun...How about you make an appointment for the Bride and Bridesmaids to take a Belly Dancing Class that night! So much fun! I see your from CT how about a Wine Tasting at a Vineyard! You could also have a Theme Home Party dressing as the girls from "Sex in the City" and drink Cosmos and have Chinese food delivery!
I love Diana idea of the Survival Kit , thats a good one.

On the Invites to the Bridal Shower you can insert a blank recipe card, So when everyone arrives, you can have a basket ready. Have everyone write down there favorite family recipe for her.
Another fun game for the shower is have the bridesmaids write down her comments after opening each gift. When the gift giving is done read back the comments, these will be things she says on her wedding night!
