Yes, I have also had that "charlie horse" in my abdomen from my c-sections and my first was 10 yrs ago and the other 4 years ago. I know mine bother me most after I have heavy cleaned or heavy lifting.
For the past few days, I've had a dull achy pain in my abdomen very much like menstrual cramps but I'm not anywhere near time for that to happen. I went to see my OBGYN and she said the pain was from my C Section scar from 2 1/2 years ago! Apparently, my abdominal muscles are having some sort of spasm on the side where my sutures were tied and knotted because the sutures they use on the inside aren't disolvable and my body is just now trying to break them down. Has this happened to anybody? The pain also radiates into my back but I guess that's because of the location of the muscles. I've never heard of this and wanted to know if anybody had heard of this? I'm wondering if this is what they call adhesions??

Me too! I had my C-section almost 2 years ago and I sometimes get that pain too, in my back and in the front. I would say it is normal.

Yes, I had 3 C-Sections and my last was almost 3 years ago and I still have pain from them.
T., I haven't had your particular problem. However, I still have numbness in my abdomen from my c-section 2 1/2 years ago!! I think it is normal to have the numbness and pain. After all, we did get internal and external cuts:( I hope you begin feeling better soon!
Hi T.,
I believe that i have had that same kind of pain and i have actually been having it at least once a year for four years now, and i end up in the hospitial thinking it's something very serious only because i wined up not being able to move around or anything like that, and now that i just had another c-section 2 months ago i think that my pain may get worse,it stinks and i hate it, but i'm gald to say that it really only happens to me once a year, and all i can do is take some meds and hope it helps, and yes it is adhesions, or scar tissue as others would say and it does happen but you do need to keep an eye on them because sometimes they do become very big and you have to have surgery to have them removed. My mother went threw this before. Hope this helps out a bit
