Put it up on craigslist - I have had some good luck with selling items that way. Sell for a fixed price and accept cash only.
I've finally decided to clean my garage and part with all those cardboard boxes we used to move here. We have tones of them...at least 5 boxes just full of other broken down boxes. Most of them are Uhaul boxes used just once. We also have those nice wardrobe boxes with the metal bars. My question is can I sell them and how would I do that? I know if someone would buy them new it would cost a lot. I'd like to help someone out and make some money too. Any ideas?

You can probably sell anything if someone's willing to pay for them. I wouldn't guess they'd generate a lot of money compared to what someone would pay for them new at staples, u-haul, etc.
But, it's worth a try to put them on craig's list or have a garage sale with other items you want to get rid of and sell them as a bundle for $10-$20.
Really nice moving boxes do have some value :) My ex-husband was moved by professional movers and he was able to sell the boxes after. I think he sold them for about $50 for the "set" which moved a 2 - 3 bedroom home (wardrobe boxes included).
The "downer" to listing on Craigslist (or whatever) is you get alot of no shows and you don't necessarily want some of these folks to know where you live. However, moving boxes are a pain to load to meet someone somewhere.
Good luck!
I guess I would put feelers out with all my friends and find out if they know of anyone moving and see if those people would be interested in buying them. To be really honest we usually give them away....
If you can't figure out what to do with them, I could use some, but I am broke. I have a son going off to college. HInt Hint
Post an ad on Craigslist for $0.50/box. Home Depot sells them new for $1.00/box.
after u decide on a price, take photo of them an put them up on craigs list
Look at the uhaul website and see what they charge and charge 50% less. If you put what they cost per box and what you are willing to sell them for people are more willing to pay what you ask. I have tried to sell items and have been offered $5 for a $200 dollar item but when I changed the ad and put what the item cost new I almost always get my asking price. If someone ask if you will take less it is your decision to accept what they are offering or to counter offer.
377 and Johnson road there is a store they will buy them
There's a store in Keller on 377 and Johnson Road that buys them.
Rock Tenn in Dallas also buys cardboard. Not sure what the going rate is right now it depends on how many pounds. I can't remember the exact road but I know it's behind the "Zoo McDonalds".
Sell them through Craigs List. Go to craigslist.com to post your ad.

I don't see why not. I would try putting an ad on www.craigslist.com
I know they are expensive to purchase new and I would probably buy them if I saw them online. What do ya have to lose?
