Hi. My son is 5 1/2. We have had a number of bad/worse/horrible experiences with doctors. Apparently I just can't pick 'em. So, I am asking for help. Can anyone throw out the name of a good pediatrician? Possibly one that has experience with ADHD. Also, I am looking for a behavioural health therapist as well. I live in the Everett area. We really don't go to the doctor so I don't mind driving a little out of my area for a good doctor.

I really love Richmond Pediatrics, in Shoreline/Richmond Beach. We see Dr. Ernst, but most of the peds there are wonderful.
I have 2 girls ages 5 1/2 and 3yrs. We go to Dr. Klicpera at the Everett Clinic in Silver Lake (by the Everett Costco). I adore him! My kids give him hugs and kiss everytime we have a checkup. He always makes sure I understand exactly what he is telling me...he even called our home once when my daughter was super sick (she has asthma)...not too many docs call you home. We love Rhonda Levitt at Northwest Pediatrics near Northgate. ###-###-####. And we also like the other two doctors in the practice that we've seen occasionally when Dr. Levitt wasn't available. They all listen well, respond to questions and take as much time as we need. And one of the best parts for me is that most of the time when you call after hours you actually talk to one of the doctors. And if you call with a question during the day, a doctor returns your call, not a nurse. It's a bit of a hike from Everett, but worth it if you don't get recommendations about someone closer.
We've seen Dr. Cheryl Beighle at the Everett Clinic on the Mukilteo Speedway. She specializes in pediatric behavioral health (including ADHD). In August will be discontinuing her general peds work and focusing on the behavioral health services only. I can't speak highly enough about her. I'm just sorry she's not continuing with general peds too.

We go to the office in Kirkland and see Joyce Wu love her...I have a bunch of friends who go to the office in Woodinville and like it their also. I
just have to say one of our worst peds that we had is in Mill Creek Dr. Stephen Schlafer I would NOT recommend him.
We go to the everett clinic at mill creek, they have satellite offices in everett too. We have seen dr. Bissey and dr. Nguyen there and lilke them both!

I don't know about the ADHD aspect, but Birth and Family Clinic in Edmonds, next to Stevens Hospital is awesome. We've been taking our 4 1/2 year old son there since he was a few months old, And eventually our whole family. They are all family doctors. We see Dr. Lockard. But Cronyn is good, she was the on call doctor when my son was born. We've also been seen by Dr. Zeh and Dr. Babcock. My husband and I haven't been real impressed by Dr. Fuhrmann.

We see pediatricians at Pediatric Associates in Bellevue, right by the 520. Dr. Diane Ack is our "regular" doc, but of course, we only visit the doctor on an "as needed" basis, or so it seems, so we NEVER get into see her but end up seeing one of the other docs.
This isn't all that helpful, but if this is local for you, there are lots of different personalities at this one location.
