Does anyone know how old a child has to be to sit in the front seat of a car? I have heard different things. I know some states want them in boosters until they are 80 lbs.(this is in Kanasas). Does anyone know what Oklahoma says?

What can I do next?

I don't know if there is a specific law about kids riding in the front seat. But I've always heard at least 4'11", 80lbs and 12yrs. HTH!

Oklahoma law on child safety can can be found on the Oklahoma Safe Kid's Coalition website:
http://www.oksafekids.org/

There is a link on the left side for Child Passenger Safety and the Oklahoma law can be found there.
