Does anyone have this harness booster seat? I'm looking at it as an option, but it isn't listed on the NHTSA latest safety ratings...

What can I do next?

If it's not listed in the safety ratings, I probably wouldn't do it. We are very happy with our Britax Frontier. We also really like the Graco Nautilus, but the Britax is a little better. Both are five point harnessed seats that convert to both a high back and a low back booster.

My son is 5.5 years old and approximately 46" and 48 lbs. He sits in it harnessed.

We did. It's a fine harnessed seat. Just, it has no side-impact protection in the way of steel, plastic, foam, etc. Requires a top tether, too. So you'd need to have that.

Nothing wrong with it, but see if it's for you.

Never heard of it, but I would go with something that has at least been tested and rated. We use Britax frontiers and I love them. Both my kids can buckle the 5 point harnesses themselves now and they will stay in a 5 point until they outgrow it, and I love that they will be safer. Sorry no advice on that one, but britax are rated well for safety, which is why I went with them. My kids are 5 and 7. Good luck!
