Carmel Corn Recipe

One of the BEST recipes I've made was with puffcorn. (It's in the snack food aisle) The recipe on back is for caramel puffcorn and it's delicious. It's super easy. I've never made caramel corn with popcorn, so I'm no help there. But seriously, the puffcorn is great!

I agree about the puffcorn caramel too.

I dont know how to make the carmel corn in the microwave either, but will second the puffcorn idea...its great because you dont get those pesky husks stuck in your teeth.
It's super yummy!

Microwave carmel corn

Combine:
1 Stick butter
1/4c corn syrup
1c brown sugar

Microwave 2 minutes and stir
Microwave 3 minutes stir after each minute

Add:
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Stir and pour over popcorn(16 cups) shake in a bag
Micro 1 min. and shake
Micro 30 sec. and shake
micro 30 sec. and shake

We used to make this all the time.. really nummy.

Here is a super easy recipe..

1/2 cup Brown Sugar
7 large marsmallows
2 cups margarine

Put all together in a microwave safe bowl, cook on full power for 2 minutes, 30 seconds. Remove and Stir. Put back in microwave for 30 seconds more. Remove and pour it over popcorn. ( I usually put the popcorn in a 9 x 13 cake pan for this)
