I dont know if you could drive to cartersville, but I take my daughter to Amy Robbins. She is a play therapist, and specializes in dealing with children who may not be ready to "talk" about it. she has been a great help with my seven year old during my divorce. send me a private msg if you cant find her number, ill get it and give it to you.

This is odd. I, too, live in Canton Ga- off Toonigh Rd. I actually opened this particular email to delete myself from Mamasource. Instead, I saw Canton Ga and read your post. This cannot be a coincidence. I do not have a counselor for you, but will pray that you find one and that you and your children can heal through this difficult time. I am a doctoral candidate in Psychology and worked with an amazing LPC at Beyond Words Center named Alexis Davis. She works out of their satellite office in Roswell (near Harry's) ###-###-####. www.beyondwordscenter.com The center specializes in social skills but the therapists work with a variety of children. I think Alexis would be very helpful for your child. They also have interns that are very well supervised/trained and they are available at reduced rates. Best of luck-
