Looking for suggestions for child friendly beach vacations! I have an almost three year old and a 7 month old and want to take them somewhere warm (of course!) for a beach vacation. Don't love super crowded places but want enough accommodations for us to feel comfortable with having the kids with us. We usually like to rent a home or condo type thing but areopen to all suggestions for locations and more!

Thanks everyone!!

Port Aransas, Texas. Super fun, family friendly, and budget friendly. Not over-crowded, and just heaven. (Can you tell that I can't wait to get back there this spring?!?!?!)

We have been to the Marriott Resort in Ft Lauderdale and it is very nice. We were there when daughter was about 5 or so.

We LOVE Destin and when there (about every Spring Break) we stay at the Hilton Golf Resprt and Spa at SanDestin. It is in a gated area, very nice and there are a lot of condos in that area as well. We LOVE the SanDestin area.

We also enjoyed Marco Island Hilton Resort and Spa. We flew into Ftl. Lauderdale and drove across Alligator Alley (a toll road) which was about an hour or little more so from our destination. You can alo fly into Ft Myers.

We enjoyed the Don Cesar resort in Tampa as well. We are headed back there in late April for a conference. Beautiful place.

Enjoy!

Go to Michigan! We rent a house that is a 3 minute walk to a private beach. We had the beach to ourselves last summer. It was perfect, and the kids can't wait to go back this summer.

Ft. Myers Beach, Fl is fantastic. We stay at the Best Western Beach Resort and love it! They also have a cottage for rent on property.
Myrtle Beach, Sc is also a favorite of ours. We stay at the Island Vista and they have condos and cottages as well!

Beaches in Turks and Caicos. Your kids are the perfect ages for this resort. Go to www.beaches.com and check it out. So much to do and you will be treated like royalty.

It is a two and a half hour flight from Atlanta, so it is easy to get to. They will pick you up at the airport and bring you back. EVERYTHING is included.

Happy planning!

Tampa: Gullwing is right on the beach, no road in between. It is condos and worth paying for the water view.

Destin, FL: Sandestin in the cottages or townhomes. May not be right on the beach, but it's a shuttle away. It is more pricey than some other locations that are just as nice. It also is not as warm as further South. However, it is beautiful with lots of activities.

Siesta Key Sarasota: My House at the Beach or Beach Club at Siesta Key

Disney Cruises from Miami or Galveston have a promotion through May where kids travel free, and there's nothing more kid-friendly than Disney

I would highly recommend Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Florida!!!

We went there last spring with our 22 mo old, inlaws and sister in law and it was a BLAST!! The beaches are pristine, beautiful! They also have a harbor with many child-friendly excursions that range from fishing to dolphin cruises to sea shell hunting (which we did that was actually a lot of fun!!). There are many fabulous restaurants, many child friendly! There is also a sea-world type attraction called GULFARIUM that was not open this last spring (renovations) but hubby and I went during our first Destin trip in 2003 and it was great. We LOVE Destin area. We stayed at San Destin which is a huge resort/condo type area that has its own beach, many pools, golf courses, and restaurant/shopping/night life area. Seriously, LOVE Destin!!
