Hello everyone! I am looking for drop-in childcare on the days I substitute teach. I have been a SAHM since March 2007 while I was changing careers. I just need a full-time teaching position to complete my certification. I have applied to several districts, but they are full. So, I'll sub, and hopefully come across a full-time position:)! My 3 yo son is energetic, and loves to learn. He knows his shapes, colors, and can recognize uppercase letters and numbers 1 - 10. He needs somewhere to learn, run, and interact. I hope to work everyday, but I need something very affordable.

What can I do next?

My son has been going to one of the only day cares centers far NE Arlington as you can get. I love it!! It's called Children's Choice, and it's affiliated with Arlington Memorial Hospital. They are really affordable and super flexible. They have drop-ins, and you can change the days that you need child care (if you are 1 - 4 days, you can change up when you need to bring your son). It's just off of 30 and Fielder.
I am a first year teacher, I got a job after interviewing for months, so i wish you luck!!
If you do check out CC, tell them S. Woods referred you!

Blessings.

I live in NRH ( very close to the NE mall) and take care of an HEB teacher's kids at home (I'm registered with the state). I have 3 children of my own (3 (this Thursday), 15 mo, 3 mo) and my 3 year old boy is beginning to read. He knows his colors, some shapes, and a few numbers. I also take care of two girls (4 and 10 months). We have a busy, happy home and we do a lot of learning! This week we're learning and reading about plants and planting our own. I have a spot available, but I'm not looking for a full-timer at the moment, so we might be a good match. Let me know if you'd like to come for an interview. ###-###-####.

I'm not sure if the Mansfield area would work for you, but my sister-in-law does childcare in her home. Please let me know if you would like more information.
