I don't know anything about CILO. But check with the school district. Whether he is in public or private school, he qualifies through services, and speech therapy definitely falls under that (and I think OT might too). And it should be free through the school.

I agree with contacting the school district. By law your child must be provided with services, and OT is a part of this.

Check out autisimspeaks.com. They have a lot of info. I believe the schools have to provide him with the thearapy he needs. Contact Headstart.
My granddaughter is Autistic and my daughter got SSI for her and Medical Assistance they cover everything including therapy at home for at least 20 hours a week plus school.

I'm inviting you to our parent support group for the MAsgutova Method in Jupiter on July 16th. It will cost a $20.00 donation to Bridge to Healing for scholorships for special needs kids to get therapy. You will learn exercises that will change your child's life for practically free. Please look up Masgutova on the web and check us out. You won't be sorry.

http://www.cilo.org/ Here is their web site. It's Coalition for Independent Living. Sounds like it's focus is on helping adults to live independently.

Your school district is mandated by Federal law to evaluate and provide services cost free. They start evaluations from birth on. There are more services available before the child is 3. Call the main school district office to ask for a phone number.

My grandson is receiving services from the school district as well as through his insurance company.
