You might look for a cleaning and restoration company. They restore homes that have had flood damage or fires. They've handled worse.
Hello Ladies! We are buying a home that is in need of a very deep clean. The current owner is elderly, a little senile and has cats and dogs. I don't know the last time the house was totally cleaned and I have a boy with allergies. I need someone to come in and clean from ceiling (cobwebs, dust!) to floor .. we are talking inside cupboards, closets, windows .. the works. I have a contractor coming after that to put a sealant on the walls to block any lingering odors and we are installing wood floors so the carpet situation is taken care of. I don't think this is really a job for a chain like Merry Maids. Does anyone know anyone who does this type of cleaning? Thank you!

Our builder also had a commercial crew that did that once the houses were done and jsut before we signed/moved in.
You can also call local cleaning companies, tell them what you need, and they MAY be able to do it. We got my parents house cleaned like that one year and paid for it for them. It was $400 for the house...so it wasn't EXACTLY like what you are describing, but they would have done more if we asked.
Look into 1800 got junk. They do the homes on that hoarders show.
Good luck to you and yours,
F. B.

Where is the home located? Is it near Bedford (saw that is where your profile says)? I have a couple of ladies that have cleaned my home before and they are out that direction. They did an AMAZING job for me, I am just too far away for them to come on a regular basis for just my house.
The contact is Patricia Rico ###-###-####. It is she and another lady that work together. They speak English and I highly recommend them.
Best of luck!

My husband is a contractor and on jobs that need a good cleaning he uses Servpro also. Good Luck!
We use ServPro on commercial jobsites for really nasty clean-ups (sewage spills and other fun things like that), as well as for post-construction cleanup (when all the walls, light fixtures, HVAC registers, etc have to be wiped down due to construction dust in the air, etc). They always do a good job.
I have no advice for you but to ask what they will use to clean the home. If you have a child with allgeries some of the chemicals may have ingredients that could make the allgeries worse.
You can do this yourself. Just get some good household cleaners and start in one room and clean. Washing soda is environmentally friendly and cleans well. Hot water, a cleaning agent and lots of muscle, one room at a time and you will be done in no time.
Wait, don't you want the contractors to be done with their dust-stirring and then have the cleaning company come in?
Ask your contractor or your Realtor. Sounds like you are looking for someone who does a cleaning like what they would do after a rental person moves out. Every time the rental house across the street empties out, the landlord sends over a truckload of people and they have the place cleaned, painted, re-carpeted or steam cleaned and ready for re-rental in less than a day. Wish they had a phone number on their truck- some days I'd like to hire them to clean my kids' bedrooms!
