We use just water and if need be, I have a bar of Weleda calendula soap. I only use it for removing sunblock--otherwise, just water.
My kids are 6 and 8. I have either used just water or cetaphil to wash their faces. Is there something gentle for their delicate skin? Please share what you use with your kids. Thanks

We normally just use water, but the best gentle cleanser is by far Dr. Bronner's castile soap. Our whole family uses that type of soap for bathing. You can buy it at Target as well as any health food store. It comes in liquid and bar form and a little bit of the liquid goes a VERY long way.
Cetaphil is a nice, gentle cleanser. Were they having problems with it? You could try cleansers from Kiss My Face, and Burt's Bees. I have VERY sensitive skin, and find those to be very gentle.
I have never used anything but water on the kids faces when they were that young.
Castille soap is wonderful and so is Burt's Bees anything.
I use Arbonne's ABC line and wouldn't consider anything else unless it was just water. Totally safe and pure in the ingredients. You want to go through a rep to get if you can.
Enjoy!
They wash their face in the shower when they are bathing so we don't wash faces just to be washing them. If they need something wiped off during the day they use Walmart brand baby wipes.
We normally use Dove bar soap in the shower.
Our doctor said to use cetaphil or caress soap since they are gentler on sensitive skin. We currently use tone soap and it seems to be just fine.

When my daughter was little, I just used Dove soap and water, or Neutragena Original bar soap and water. Those were the only 2 we ever have had here as I have sensitive skin as does my daughter.
She and I still only use those 2 things for faces and bodies (shes almost 18 now..we do the Dove in the shower and the Neutragena bar for our faces).
We don't use soaps on our daughters' faces. They are 8 and 5. We only use water.
I know for me and my kids, we all get very dry skin due to the Utah climate. Cetaphil just left too much behind...and water just dehydrates the skin by washing away the oils...that can either lead to excessive oil or dryness over time. The best product I have found that works for all of us is Mary Kay cleansers. There are formulations for every skin type, and there are no fats or fillers like you would in many sold in stores.
