We are expecting in late September and would like to use cloth diapers. Caveat: ONLY if we can find a cloth diaper cleaning service in the area. I tried Googling to no avail. Can anyone recommend such a service? Thank you!
I used dy dee diaper service for all three of my children...loved it! I know they are still in business as I saw a truck just the other day!...Have fun!

If no one has a recommendation for you, you might try g diapers (cloth/disposable hybrid). We've been using them for several months now and we love them! They don't need to be washed as often as cloth, and the flushable refills are biodegradeable, if you choose to throw them away. Whole Foods carries the starter kits if you want to try them out, or look online at www.gdiapers.com. If you decide to use them, it's less expensive to order from Diapers.com because then you won't pay for tax or shipping. Good luck!

I have had a great experience with Dy-Dee Dipaer in Pasadena, (626) 792- 6183. They come on Monday and pick up your dirty diapers and leave clean ones right in front of your door!! Also you order these velcro wraps that go around the diaper so no safety pins involved. I think the start up is $100 or so and then its like $22 a week. Disposable diapers are about $60 a week. I grew up with cloth diapers and don't want my son's diapers to sit in a landfill for 500 years. Some argue that the water you use is just as bad...I don't think so, they use commerical machines that use less than one flush of the toliet. Anyways...hope this helps! My son is 10 1/2 months old.

Dydee Diapers delivers in Santa Monica. They are very inexpensive. Simply Google "Dydee Diapers". You can call Dydee and have your account set up within minutes and they will deliver clean diapers weekly as well as pick your soiled diapers. I use Dydee and I've never had a problem.
Although Dy-dee has been around for a while, I really like Blessed Bums. Their diaper covers are much more adorable and they only use organic cloth diapers (much better for the environment than regular cotton). Its ran by the owners (a young married couple, much like my husband and I) and I really liked that they take a more personal approach to the service... I didn't feel rushed during their orientation and they allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed to feel comfortable.
