Don't worry. A lot of kids do not like tummy time. She will get the hang of it. Just keep putting her on her tummy a few times a day for a few minutes each time. She will learn in time.
I am looking for ideas on how to get my 9 wk old interested in tummy time. She can hold her self up on her arms, but then gets very frustrated when she can't go anywhere, and her vision is limited. I've tried putting toys out for her and different things, liek rolling balls around but it doesn't seem to interest her. Is there anything that I haven't thought of, or am I worrying about nothing?

I don't think you have anything to worry about. Babies develop at different rates and not all babies enjoy tummy time. My son (almost 3 now) HATED being on his tummy. We had to do tummy time in short intervals and he would scream the entire time. He was a late mover. He never rolled around (which had me worried). He didn't crawl until 14 mos and then he started rolling. He started walking at 16 mos. I was so nervous something was wrong-- but my pediatrician kept telling me he was fine.
The play-mat gyms might be helpful to you. When she gets a little bigger try putting her on an exercise ball and rolling it around. Or put her over a boppy pillow on her tummy. They can't see as well done there and don't like that.
Good luck.
My son HATED tummy time. He would scream whenever we put him on his tummy. He's 12 months now, and everything turned out fine without forcing the issue.
The only thing I can suggest is to lay in front of her or have her lay on your chest.
dont worry. she will enjoy tummy time more as she gets older. Babies develop at different rates. my baby always slept on her tummy - she had reflux so she had to be on her tummy. she liked tummy time.
