You should try pear juice. It has worked for my two and many others in the family. It normally works within 1 hour and helps with gas also.

I don't think you are supposed to use kayro for a baby that young..Something about the spores in it(same goes for honey..)..You could give her some juice, straight juice no water..Have you started her on baby food yet..when I first started giving mine baby food it took a while for them to get used to it and they would be constipated some..Hope that helps..
Hi Ashley.
Both of my boys had problems with constipation. The BEST thing I did was get gylcerin suppositories. You can find them anywhere. Walgreens, CVS, Kroger, Walmart. They make them timy for babies. Just slip one in their rectum and 5-10 min later a nice healthy bowel movement comes out. Is she on formula or breast milk? My oldest son breastfed and he was very constipated. When I weaned onto formula he became regular. I don't know. Maybe it was just my breastmilk or something. Anyways, try the glycerin suppositories. They work awesome and are VERY safe. Good Luck!
hey Ashley, as far as the Karo...get you a bottle of the dark that way you can see that it is mixed up good and you put it in her bottle with her milk!! put about a teaspoon..just pour some in the bottom of her bottle with her milk and shake it up really good...use it everyday with all her bottles...it should fix her problem for good, there will still be bad days but she will straighten out..good luck D.
PS I'm really sorry about your little baby boy...I know how you feel and you will always deal with it but just remember this...you have your little girl and she is the most important thing now..by the way..they were born on my birthday!! Love ya
I can't remember how much Karo my Dr told me to put in my daughter's bottle. To be sure, call them and ask. I had the same problem with both of my children. After some time, if it doesn't correct itself, you'll know when and how much to put in her bottle. Sometimes a little bit a few times a week will keep her bowels movements easier for her. Just take note when you change her diaper and then remember whether or not to put the karo in or not. It's the dark karo syrup that should be used not the clear.
good luck
