Contraception... Could I End up Pregnant?

Me and my husband had sex and we are usually careful with using either condoms, foam, or he will pull out before he ejaculated. Well this time we didnt use either three and he came inside of me. After we cooled down we realized what was done he grabbed the foam and inserted it in me.
Now my question is will the foam have effect or probably not? (since it was inserted after and not before)

Thanks in advance for those who read and respond.

If your response is to ridicule my question please don't and what does a buying a house have anything to do with what i'm asking "DINA"? I'm 21 and i am well aware of the outcome of sex (i'm not an idiot) so please only responses to my original question. Not if i should be having sex or not.

Thank you :)

Yes, you could definitely end up pregnant. If you don't want to be, I would suggest getting the morning after pill immediately.

Good luck

not sure about the foam, but the chance of you getting pregnant really depend upon where you were in your menstrual cycle. Woman have about 10 days a month when they are technically able to become pregnant (5 days before and 5 days after ovulation) and in reality only about 1.5 days a month when they are likely to become pregnant. We are fertile nearest to the time we ovulate. We can ovulate at varying times in our cycle, but since that requires charting and taking your temperature every day, you will need to guesstimate it to be the middle of your cycle. If you know how many days your cycle is, figure out the middle of it and see if you were anywhere near ovulation or your most fertile time.

B., I also didn't use the pill and used alternate methods of birth control. I was married as you and could have dealt with the outcome. I'm sorry people on this site are so rude. Pick up a book called taking charge of your fertility. It teaches Natural family planning. So if you are not a fan of the pill, you can chart your cycle and with the use of condoms have as much control over pregnancy as any woman who uses the pill. Best of luck. And by the way, having a baby ain't so bad.

Yes. Foaming after is not effective. But, the real predictor would be where you are in your menstrual cycle. And, even with BC, there's ALWAYS a chance. I used BC and still got pregnant!

Congrats Mommy B.! Nah, just kidding! The days right after your period (and before day #10) are the "safer" days. There are other reasons why may be you didn't or can't great pregnant. But your behavior is suggestive of baby-seeking so congratulations in advance! Alicia

No contraception method is 100 % effective. If you were in the middle of your cycle it is much more likely that you could end up pregnant. Just to be on the safe side you may want to start taking vitamins. Anyway, good luck!

Yes, you could still get pregnant. Since you are not using the pill or a really reliable form of birth control, you need to get really educated on how your body works and know its fertility signs so you can avoid getting pregnant.

Short answer - yes.
Contraception can fail, and you increase the failure rate by not using it correctly.
Time will tell.

if it's been 3 days or less, you can get the "day" after pill. Usually 72 hours, but check with your doc
