At this point, I would go w2ith the 5 point booster seat. No need to get a convertible unless you are planning on another child that you'll need it for later.
My child is 41 lbs and 41 in tall. We have her in the Britax Marathon. It goes until 49 in and 65 lbs. However, we were in an accident and need to replace it. Is it best to get say another convertible car seat like Boulevard or 5 point Harness booster seat?

How old is your child? If your child is 3-4ish I would probably just move on to a 5 point harness/booster seat.
Personally, we have the newest Diono Radian RXT and absolutely love it! They have an expiration date of 10-12 years and one of the highest weight/height limits on the market. Basically, it goes from birth until they do not need to be in a seat anymore. Well worth the price tag. They have fantastic customer service to boot. I might add that my kids are in the 95% for height at 2 and 3.75 years old and are still rear facing.
Since you have to replace the seat, I would get a Britax Frontier. We got one for my son and he thought it was really comfortable. It'll last for as long as you need it to. My son is now 9 years old, 54" and almost 75 pounds and he still sits in it as a high back booster. He used it with the harness until he was 7 1/2. My daughter is about the same size as yours and I'm going to switch her to the frontier when she outgrows her current seat.
Honestly, I bought our high back booster seats for less than $50 each. I cannot justify paying $300 on carseat that is not safer, just fancier, than the $50 version.
I was just checking Walmart's website (since that's wear I bought all their carseats), and they have some highback booster seats for $25.
Don't get me wrong. Most of the time you really do get what you pay for, and there are absolutely areas where I am more than willing to pay more in order to get more for my kids. But I am not about to throw away $250 and get nothing for it.
I have Britax Pinnacle Clicktight 5 point harness booster and love it. Best out there. You still need a 5 point harness not just a high back booster.
My daughter is 40 pounds and 43 inches. She's in a convertible now and when I replace it in a few months (apparently there's a 5 year expiration on car seats due to the degradation of the plastic!), I plan to buy another convertible. I would go with another convertible. It's safer.
The Diono line of car seats are excellent. Tough, thin (so you can't easily fit them side by side) and will take you through the whole age range.
Expensive but worth it in my view.
My daughter will be 4 in 1.5 months. I was looking at the Britax Pinnacle 5 pt booster. Any thoughts on that one? Can anyone say if Britax or Diano RXT is better?
