Take the test so you'll know one way or the other. Good luck!
Ok, here's my problem. I'm 42 years old and my husband and I have been married for over 18 years and have two beautiful daughters 15 and 8. We don't have an active sex life at all and we finally did "it" about 2 weeks ago (January 26) the first time in 8 months. We didn't use protection (our mistake) and I was due for my period around Jan. 31. My last period was right around New Years. Needless to say I haven't had my "friend" yet. I'm almost a week late. Usually I spot a few days before it get it. I've had nothing when I wipe and nothing floating in the toilet either after I go to the bathroom. Should I get a pregnancy test, or wait a few more days? I really hope I'm NOT pregnant!!!
I'm NOT pregnant. Whoo Hooo. I took the test yesterday morning (friday)and it was negative and I got my "friend" today. I'm soooo happy. Thanks everyone for your responses.

Hi B.,
I'd recommend a test. If you are a week late that should be early enough to get an accurate result, especially if you do it first thing in the morning.
Good luck!

Get the test! Good luck and don't stress out. Just worrying about it can prevent your period from coming whether you are pregnant or not!
It seems very likely since your cycle is so predictable. Go get the test so at least you will know and can deal with whichever result you get.
