I have been having cramping and a white discharge also but negative tests. I went to doctor yesterday and I have a nasty Yeast infection that was causing it. It could be that.
Hello Everyone..
I have been having some cramping and i had my period two weeks ago tomm., but it was 4 days late and light compared to normal. I stopped taking birth control a few weeks ago which i was on for 3 months... i had the mirena in after my daughter was born in Feb. of 2008 until March of this year. We were going to try to get pregnant, but decided to wait so i went on birth control for 3 months. I have never had cramping with ovulation, but i have had a white discharge off and on since yesterday. Could this just be ovulation or could i be pregnant. The cramping is not unbearable, but i just do not remember this anytime before. i have taken 2 pregnancy test since my period was not normal, but they have both come up negative. Any advice or experience with this would be helpful..
Thanks...
Thanks everyone for helping... i did end up getting a blood pregnancy test to make sure i was not pregnant.. It was negative so i am sure it is just my body getting back to normal and i was under some stress... Thanks everyone for responding..

The white discharge is actually a clue that it's ovulation. You could read 'Taking Charge of Your Fertility' to find out more information about your cycle.
I think it is just your body. I have painfull ovulation and it was worse after getting off the pill. If you are still worried eat and drink as if you are pregnant and then take a test again in 2 weeks. Good luck!
After Mirena your cycles will probably be irregular for awhile or your body could just not like the new birth control you are on. If neither are the case then I'd also say you are probably ovulating. Increased white-ish cervical fluid is the key.
When you go off birth control it takes a while for your body to regulate. I never had cramping until I went off the pill, now I have it every month. Birth control often masks what our bodies would do normally, which is why they will give it to girls who have trouble with cramping.
I doubt you are pregnant B..
It is probably your body just getting back to normal being off the birth control.
I'd see your doctor. If you are having a different color discharge you could have an infection that's causing the cramping. If it doesn't smell normal that is an even greater chance it's an infection. Also, get a blood pregnancy test...
