Home On The Range in McKinney is awesome! It is in the shopping center at 380 and 75 with Best Buy and Ross. It is up near 75 near Jason's Deli. They are wonderful and even sell fabrics if you want to recover existing furniture or make your own curtains, etc... I did my daughters room in a cowgirl style and found tons of great stuff there.
I don't know about Plano but downtown Mckinney has alot of shops that sell country style home decor, there's also a place right off of 75North before you get to the 75/hwy5 split. I don't remember what it's called (you'd think I would since I drive past it all the time lol) but it's a country decor store.
I know of a really cute store in Mckinney, called plum primitives
