I actually make something like that, but I like it better warm. At any rate I've made variations. Of course crab, spinach (get rid of all the liquid) and I have combined sour cream, vegetable cream cheese (softened, that's why I like it warm) and salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder to your taste. Play around with it. It is also delicious on warm Italian bread with melted mozarella or provolone, ohmygoodness I am drooling.

well I know a good crab dip recipe but it doesn't have spinach in it. But you do serve it cold and it is spreadable so it might be similar.
1 package imitation crab meat
1 jar shrimp cocktail sauce
1 brick cream cheese
crackers, bread or chips

mix the crab meat and cocktail sauce in a bowl. Use a fork so you can chopped up the crab meat as you mix so it's very small pieces. Set aside.
Spread cream cheese thinly and evenly on a platter then pour the crab meat sauce on top and spread that evenly.
Serve cold with crackers, bread or chips.

I suggest you ask the restaurant. They probably won't be able to give you the actual recipe but they probably can tell you what is in the dip. I've done this before and found that knowing the ingredients allowed me to tinker enough to make something quite similar. Sometimes I start with a similar recipe that I find on the Internet and then tinker with it using the ingredients listed by the restaurant.

I googled "crab and spinach dip" and found several recipes.

Was it a chain restaurant, like Applebee's or TGIF or anything like that? There are tons of sites that have recipes for favorites from restaurants. If it was, google the name of the restaurant and the name of the dish.
