With all of my pregnancies, i thought I was getting my period because I had the same cramps I would get beforehand. With my son, I had cramping all the way through the pregnancy, to the point where I wondered if I would even know when the actual labor was going to be!

For the record, I did. =)

Congrats to you and best wishes.

Totally normal! I remember with my first even though I had taken a million pregnancy tests I kept waiting for my period because I was soooo sure it was coming with the kind of cramps i was having. No worries!

Sounds like implantation pain...I had it...If no bleeding that's a good sign..call your ob though and go for an appointment...At 8 weeks they should be able to see the heartbeat on the ultrasound :)

Between 6-8 weeks the embryo implants into the lining of the uterus. Light cramping is totally normal - even a little bit of light brown spotting. Bright red? Call your doc.

Good luck with your pregnancy!

Yup! Nothing ever happened. In fact, he's sitting right here eating all my grapes and making me crazy.

My OB explained that it was him getting settled in and my body getting used to being pregnant. I also bled a little bit too.

Its always ok to checked out by your doc if you are worried but its pretty normal. I have even had an incident of very heavy bleeding one night in first trimester. It was unexplained but ended up baby was fine and didn't even come early. Don't worry yourself too much. NOTHING ever makes sense when you are pregnant!!

For the first semester I felt a lot of "period symptoms" including cramps (but no bleeding) for I believe all four of my pregnancies (all healthy). At this point, would not worry a bit.

Totally normal! I was very crampy at first with my first 2 pregnancies. My OB said it was fine unless it became severe or if it was accompanied by bleeding. He told me it was just my uterus stretching out. Good Luck!
