Hey C.,
If you go to the Crayola website they have a section on how to remove crayon from just about anything.
Good luck to you.

WD-40 works great...cleans marker off chalkboards, too. The only drawback is that it leaves the surface a little slick (and then the chalk doesn't work so great) so I always wash it with hot soapy water afterwards. Magic Eraser works as well, but mine always seem to crumble and fall apart even after only one use.

Well, you can see if anyone comes in with anything better, but you can scrub the crayon off and then refinish the chalkboard. There is a spray that you can buy in the hardware store. http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=howTo&p=HomeDec...

Don't know if this works, but you could try WD-40. I once got a long list of what amazing things you would never think of WD-40 could do. I got ink out of a shirt once by trying it. I thought the shirt was going in the Goodwill anyway, why not try it, and it worked. What have you got to loose? If you do try it let me know if it works.
Good luck
