Has anyone joined curves? A friend was telling me about it... I was curious if anyone has any good/bad things to say. Or any success stories.

What can I do next?

I really enjoyed curves. It was a great work out and some nice time to myself. However - when I stopped going I gained the weight back. No surprise really cause I never changed my eating habits while going.

I joined WW 8 weeks ago, Had had my weigh in yesterday and was down 22 1/2 pounds. I've learned how to eat healthier and make better choices. This weight loss was with daily activity for the most part. Not much actuall excercising. I think the meetings have REALLY helped me though.

Now if I could do both? I would be in heaven!

K., I joined curves last year, and it is a great place to go. Unfortunately I don't have anyone to watch my two girls, so I haven't been able to go like I want. I did weight watchers before I had my oldest child, she's now 3, and in just under a year, I lost 50 lbs without to much exercise, so with both, you should really see amazing results. I'm trying to figure out how I am going to lose weight as I am struggling with my weight also. Thankfully I'm not gaining anymore, but I haven't been able to lose either, just staying put. It's really aggravating. Anywho, Good for you with Curves and weight watchers.
Good luck and both programs are excellent.

I hear you, I have been struggling with my weight too. I have a five year old and a two year old. I joined lifetime, only to throw in the towel, only because my youngest would not stay in the day care. "seperation anxiety". I was considering curves, figuring it would only be a half bour and I think I can afford that. When I would be at lifetime it was a good 2 hours for everything. That is great you joined weight watchers online, I should check it out. I can join with you. i live in sterling heights. buzz me if you are interested. ###-###-#### --L.

I joined right after my son was born. I had a c-section and the work outs are pretty low impact so it was good for about 6 mos. After that it really wasn't enough of a work out. It really is geared for older women and really heavy/obese women who just need to get moving. If you take it for what it is, and are aware of its restrictions its worth the price. I also did WW and it works great! Good luck to you.
