I have PF also and have the joy of a Morton's neuroma as well. i've done all the steroid injections, ice, etc. My orthodicts have been the best thing. Also, I can only run about twice a week (I used to run every day).

Go to REI. I have several pairs of the brands they sell there: Keen, Chaco, Merrill, etc. and I've been very happy. The employees there know feet issues very well. I don't buy shoes anywhere else now.

I agree with the gal that likes Born and Clark, but I also like Keen and Merrill. They were expensive but I have been wearing them about 4 years... mephisto Helen... and I like them very much. This is a sandal! But I do not have plantar F.

This store has a pretty good selection. http://www.thewalkingcompany.com/

I just picked up some cute clogs (Merrill) at DSW.

I highly suggest Born or Clarks shoes. I buy mine at DSW so they are a little off price.

I don't have any shoe suggestions, but do suggest going to see a podiatrist if you can. I had debiliatating heel pain from the same condition for many months before I finally got treatment from a podiatrist. It was not fun (painful shots in my heel several times over several months, foot wraps and in shoe orthotics), but after my treatment was done, I never had that pain again, regardless of which shoes I wear. I regretted waiting so long to go as it was such a huge relief. That was about 14 years ago.

Good luck!

Blessings,
N.
