Have an ice cream party. Instead of getting or making a cake, get a few quarts of his favorite ice cream and topping and everyone can make their own sundae at home. You can stick a candle in his and sing if you'd like.
Does anyone have any good ideas for an inexpensive and creative Birthday gift from the kids for daddy?
First off I would like to thank everyone for their response. Well I ended up letting the kids make breakfast. I was so pressed for time that I didn't get a chance to try to do anything. But nevertheless DADDY luv'd it. He said just the sight of the kids with batter on their faces was enough for him! Once again thank you.

A photo gift always gets a smile, like a t-shirt or mousepad for work etc...I use snapfish.com for my photo gifts or for photo shirts you can go to Cafepress.com I have also used them before, they have a large variety. Hope this was helpful and good luck to you.
Have a Great day!!!
Yes! Go to the mall (Palisades Mall in Rockland County) has a little booth and have your children's picture taken and put on a mouse pad or a mug. It costs less than $20.
Hi There, if you have time, last year for Father's Day I created a memory book from snapfish.com. I was able to choose my pictures, write my captions, and play with it until I got it just right. I did all of the pics in B&W which didnt cost anything extra. It was only $20 which I thought was a great deal. I also left the last page for a poem about dads. If his birthday is tomorrow, this wont work for you but you can start on one for next year. Any photo gift from the mall stand is always cute and they do it in minutes.
if you have some good pics of dad with the kids, frame it, or 2 pics, one of dad with each kid, get a nice frame with a nice mat (matt? matte?) and you can print something on the mat "me and daddy" or something, or put their handprints on it? or something like that. if you take digital prints, go to snapfish, lots of good gift ideas, i love the calendar as a gift, you put it together with all your pics...
how about one of those shirts with the kids photo on it? good for his bday and fathers day for him to wear....good luck
or a shirt with your kids hand and/or footprints...you can get an inexpensive shirt at the craft store, use some craft paint that easily washes off and you are good to go.

I made a clock for my husband for fathers day. I bought a cheap clock that I could 'pop' the face off of. I used printshop to print out pictures of my son, so they were small and could fit over the numbers on the clock. 1 O'clock was my sons first picture after birth. And 12 o'clock was his most recent picture at that time. And then all the pics in between were in chronological order.
If you are good with printshop, its very simple to do. And my son helped glue the pictures on. Pop the plastic face back on, and you are good to go.
How about a t-shirt with the children's picture and a personal caption. vistaprint.com has a free t-shirt offer, you just pay for the download and shipping. I made two shirts with a picture of my daughters on the day they discovered they can open their dresser drawer with the caption "double trouble", one for each grandpa. Its creative & inexpensive.
Good luck.
for my hubby's first father's day i got my son's picture taken in his daddys favorite football team outfit...(less expensive option take a pic u have and get it enlarged either by your computer or a local drug store). I put it in a paper frame (got it super cheap at AC Moore which is a craft store). I put my sons pic in the middle then i painted his hands and feet and put his hand and foot prints on the outside of the pic on the cardboard part of the frame! hubby loved it! we put it in a glass frame and its hanging on our wall! the whole thing with getting a professional pic done cost me 45 bucks! if i didn't get it professionally done it probably would have cost me about 5!
good luck 2 u!
if you have one of those ceramics places where you can go and paint your own stuff, maybe take the kids there and do something with their hand/foot prints. i have a plate in my kitchen with their handprints shaped like flowers. i did one for my mil with their hands together like a heart.
We looked for codes online for Shutterfly, Kodak, etc and found one where we ended up getting a mug with the kids pictures on it and then another time a calendar with 12 different pictures on it for free. My husband's calendar runs out next month and he is already asking me when he will get another one.

a palate, shirt/shorts with the kids handprints
Art, hand or footprints with name, age and date. You and can use kids finger paints. Get a large study piece of poster board let the kids step in paint and walk over paper. For a smaller gift that can be framed use construction paper and hand prints. Be creative with color.

u can buy a post card, you sign it and have the two year old write or you help them, or take the two year to a store with reasonable price items and let Rain pick something even a teddybear, hopefully he would like it cause it is coming from the child.
You could create a desk photo calendar with the pictures of the child and the family
