Does anyone have any experience with Daffodils Preschool in McKinney? They claim to use a "progressive montessori" model. Any input good or not-so-good would be helpful.

Thanks!!!!

We're also looking in to this school so I'll be interested to see what others have to say. I did ask about it on this site a few months ago and got great recommendations.

I don't have any personal experience, but about a year ago I too was considering Daffodils and I read some pretty awful comments about it. I know it may be time consuming, but if I were you I'd try to go back through the requests and responses from last year.
We personally never even visited after what I read...

My children went to daffodils since they were born. It is a really good school. It is definitley not daycare. The only negative thing is that they do not provide meals....Other than that the director and teachers are great!

I don't know anything about this school, I do however HIGHLY recommend Primrose Schools. There are two in Plano that I had children in, and LOVED them both! Here is the web-site you should stop in and take a tour.

www.myprimroseschool.com/northplano

They are the "Leader in Early Childhood Education"! The way they teach the children and the care and love that goes into every thing they do is awesome. If your looking for the montessori theme, they teach very much the same way. The only differance is your child will be ready to enter into the public/ private school when they reach 5yrs old alot easier. They will not have the shock of "Montessori" into following teachers direction, etc... Primrose delivers direction to the children and then they do the work them selves. You will LOVE IT!

Good Luck!
