Parker Chase at Hebron and Marsh Ridge(Carrollton) is the best!! They are like a "family" and really appreciate the individual needs and personalities of each child--we have been there for years!

We are relocationg to the DFW area and I am trying to find a good daycare for my 9 month old son. Does anyone have any recommendations in any of these areas? Thanks!

Please don't take your baby to Kids r Kids (castle hills/carrollton) I watched my son online on his first day and he was ignored all day (left on a bouncy seat) and then I was told what a great day he had. They didn't even hold him while they gave him his bottle. I saw the whole thing myself and took him out of that facility that very same day. I would recommend a school affiliated with a church. I have my son in a mothers day out and they love on him and play with him. I'm very happy with him there.
We have been so blessed to have learned about Parker Chase in Carrollton (at Hebron and Marsh Ridge - very near where Carrollton and Plano intersect) I always refer to Parker Chase as their "school" because it isn't a daycare, it's more of a school house. It is NAEYC accredited (even under the new standards which is tough to do) and our children have thrived there. My son started kindergarten this year and it has been amazing to see how far ahead of some of his classmates he was because of what he learned in pre-K at Parker Chase. The school and all of the families who take children there are incredibly tight knit. I have an amazing circle of friends that I've met through Parker Chase because our kids were in class together, and my children have made friendships that will continue even after they start elementary school. I can't say enough amazing things about the school, and I highly recommend you take a tour and meet with Julie, the school's director.
Primrose of West Carrollton is a fantastic daycare. My son has been going there since he was 3 months. He is now three and still going to the same school. When we moved from The Colony to Castle Hills our house search was based on this school and not having to move our son out of it.
They have a great curriculum, fun activities that involve the whole family (spring fling, fall fest), loving and caring teachers and my favorite - they send me pictures of my son during the work day. That makes it so worth it to see him having a great time at school.
Parker Chase is the only NAEYC accredited preschool in that area. Definitely check them out.
My son is in kindergarten there too and has been going to PC since he was 2.5.
They learn through play so the kids are active, laughing, dirty, and smart!!! The stuff they come home learning will amaze you.
Go visit and check it out. Their website isn't stellar and the director, Julie, can sometimes come across as distracted over the phone, but she knows every single one of those kids, and all the parents, and she knows her stuff. Everyone is highly trained, SUPER low turnover, and really dedicate themselves to the kids.
My son is 4 1/2 and has gone to Creme de la Creme in Plano (off of Plano Parkway) since he was 8 months old. I love that he's learning so much and getting a head start in school with the classes they have for the children. I personally think it is a great school/day care - we had him in TLC in Plano from when he was 9 weeks old until 4 months old and he ended up getting very sick there and we decided to pull him out, have a nanny for a few months until he got better, and send him to a better day care.
They also have great extracirricular activities for the kids - TOTs (Teams of Tomorrow basketball), t-ball, dance, karate, circus and such. These are an additional cost to monthly tuition but well worth what the kids learn and experience!
Tanya Uvence is the director at Creme de la Creme and is very nice; I suggest you give her a call to discuss your needs, concerns and options :-)

I don't know if this would be too far for you, but LMNOP Children's Academy in Carrollton just opened up at Marsh & Trinity Mills. They would have room for your baby. Good luck!
The State's website is a really good source to use, http://www.dfps.state.tx.us or this is an association that I belong to, http://www.pickofnorthtexas.com. I hope these will help you.
We LOVE Kids R Kids Carrollton (the one byCastle Hills)! We put our infant in at 3 months and she has "graduated" through the two infant rooms to the toddler room. The teachers are so loving and you can tell they really care. My mom even gets to watch on-line from out-of-state. She loves sharing in our daughter's day. My friends also have kids in preschool side of the building and they are so happy as well! We recommend this school to everyone! C.R
Kids R Kids Castle Hills. Here is the website: http://kidsrkidscastlehills.com. Ask to speak with Gary or Angel--they are the owners and are on-site pretty much everyday. We have been very happy with the staff and teachers at this facility.
Good luck,

I have the perfect in-home day care. Email me personally if you are interested. I have 8 years and 3 children worth of experience with this sweet lady. She has been a vital part of our life and I contribute some very good habits (eating, sleeping) to her daily routine. We live in The Colony.
