P.M.
Did you get a new kitten or cat, or anyone you know in which she could have played with them? What you described is what my daughter had as a first symptom of Cat Scratch disease (completely treatable in both animals and humans!).
Its been there for awhile, I really thought it was nothing. But its getting a bit bigger, and is a bit red around the edges (like from pressure). We are going to the Doc on wednesday, but Im wondering if anyone has seen something like this? It doesnt look infected, looks like it could be popped (but Im not about to do that), its kind of hard, like the skin is dry on it. Im thinking its from a little poke from something that I missed?
Also, she has what looks like a series of little bites on her leg, in one area, but they look like little red pimples with no bite mark visable. (found this 3 days ago, when she had been in a sleeper with feet, thinking something got in there and feasted on her, but not sure)
I havent done anything to either of the marks, Ive considered using polysporin on the hand, and considered putting some hydrocortizone on the leg, but will likely just wait & see what the doc thinks.
Still, hoping someone can give me an idea of what these things might be. We dont have fleas, but MAYBE a bed bug (eww) did the biting (dont have bed bugs that I know of, but we;re in a new place last 3 months so maybe)
it was a pimple & the doc popped it yesterday. already looks so much better.

Google Molluscum Contagiosum, and look at the pictures. It sounds like what might be on your daughters hand.
Could it be eczema? I had it really bad as a teenager and many different forms of it. My the palms of my hands were covered in what looked like little pimples, and they itched like crazy! I also got it on the sides of my feet and ankles as well. Does she itch it a lot? Glad you are having it checked out by the dr. and good luck :)
My daughter had a boil that sounds similar to what u are describing. Don't pop it, escepecially not being sure what it is. Does it hurt? It hurt he a bit.
It sounds like it might be MRSA
could be a wart...they sometimes change....put a band-aid over it and DO NOT try and pop it.
bed bugs would be at the feet or elsewhere on the body - not just ONE place and ONE bite.
My 5 year old daycare child has one on her shoulder that she said itches, I looked at it, it looks like a white head, but i believ e it started as a bug bite that she scratched. I'll check it again on Monday, her step dad probably poped it. J.
could she have something stuck inside her skin that is trying to work its way out, like a splinter? It might be coming to a head because her body has worked the foreign object closer to the surface and is trying to get it out. Hope the doc helps.
Definitely see what the doctor says. My son had a series of bumps on his hand and it turned out to be little warts that the dermatologist froze off. They haven't come back since. Good luck.
i dont know how old she is but it could be hand foot mouth. if she is in school of day care she could have got it from there. my daughter had it and it was in her diaper area, legs, feet and a little around her mouth. you can google it. my daughter didnt look like most of the pictures but her dr confirmed it after the er said it was fifths disease because her cheeks were red.
