Recently,

I just tried to go with blonde highlights and well It didn't work out in my favor.
They came out orage even after 6 hours of bleeching my hair.

so with that being said, My hair isn't silky black anymore and I am needing a really awesome conditioner for my hair....
Any advice would be great ladies........

p.s. I don't want products you can get at walmart or grocery stores.....
I mean salon products that are amazing.

What can I do next?

Hi Emily,
Having credentials in the industry, I would like to recommend the Redken - Extreme line for you to try.... It is a deep conditiong line for distressed hair. I would recommend using their Anti-snap product if anything. Also you might like the Soft conditioner as well...
Good Luck

Hi Emily,

I personally use Paul Mitchell's Lavendar Mint with tea tree oils, scalp conditioner, shampoo, and of course the conditioner.

I find that this combination has really worked well for me, because not only did I have problems with my hair being dry it also affected my scalp. That is why I would highly recommend this. The first couple of times you could as I did and get you a plastic shower cap and leave the conditioner in for 30 minutes to an hour for a deeper conditioning.

I know that you probably don't want to hear this but I have most of the SALON'S at the larger Wal-Mart's. Unless you have a friend that is a hair dresser that will probably be one of the lesser expensive places to get it. You are looking at between $50 - $85 dollars for these products, it just depends on where you buy them.

I really hope this helps and and if this is not the solution for you that you find one, because there is nothing worse.

Good luck and God Bless.

The best thing you can do is put plain old mayonaise on your hair! My hair was breaking off after a hairdresser over processed it. I put mayonaise on it, wore a plastic cap on it overnight and the next morning when I washed it out, I had normal, healthy hair. It works better than any product at Sally's or store.

Biolage conditioning BALM...love it, makes my hair feel like silk and I do a lot of stuff to make it feel like straw!
Why did you choose blonde hilights for black hair? why did you not try carmel or other less harsh colors? just curious, a good stylist should have known better.
Sorry you got orange streaks, but it will grow, right?

Infusium 23 is the best resoring source. But you can also get Cholestrol from Sally's. Do not try to dye it back use a semi color that will wear off and keep doing it. Dye will damage and show more grow out. Semi will cover the orange. Just would not lift enough. Higher volume of peroxide would have helped. But you can not put it on the scalp. I have damaged my hair many times with color and infusium is the best. But it only takes a little bit the first time I used it I put to much on and it was sticky. Did not use it for a long time now I neep it on hand. It has Panthenol and Vitamin B in it. Good Luck. G. W Hairdresser since 1967

My absolute favorite is Pureology's Anitfade Conditioner (it's in a lavender bottle). I haven't found anything that comes close to how it makes my hair feel and look. It's kind of pricey (about $50 for the big bottle) but it's so worth it - it's my one splurge! I think the small bottle is around $25. Give it a try - good luck!

Emily,

I am a licensed cosmetologist so you are in luck! ;-) Aphogee is a great product for damaged hair. If you're hair is really damaged from the bleaching process, aphogee offers a two step process conditioner where you wash your hair with the moisturizing shampoo first and then use a protein conditioner which hardens in your hair. You must follow instructions carefully!
Gently cleanse hair with ApHOGEE Shampoo. Rinse thoroughly and towel blot. Apply enough ApHOGEE Treatment to thoroughly saturate hair and comb blend for even distribution. Leave hair uncovered. Do not use a plastic cap, and seat client under medium heat dryer. (Alternatively, a hand dryer may be used, but hair should not be agitated while drying.) Note: When ApHOGEE Treatment is dried into the hair, the hair becomes extremely hard. Do not comb or brush hair while ApHOGEE Treatment is dried and in the hair. Re-wet and gently rinse thoroughly with warm water. Apply ApHOGEE Moisturizer to hair & scalp. Leave for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Proceed to next service or style as usual.

My hair is growing like crazy and it is designed for all hair types.

If you're hair isn't in very bad condition you can use the aphogee balancing moisturizer alone which adds strength, shine and luster to your hair. If you decide to do the 2-step process, you must use this product anyway.

Cost of all of this
Aphogee moisturizing shampoo - $about $8 for 16 oz
Aphogee shampoo for damaged hair - about $8 for 16 oz.
2 step process - about $7 for 4oz or $20 for 16 oz
aphogee balancing moisturizer - about $6 for 8oz bottle

I hope this helps.

I had a hair crisis once and went to Sally's Beauty Supply. They are staffed with cosmetologists who know what they're doing, and the lady I talked to knew exactly what I should do. I followed her directions and was able to face the public again! Good luck!

Kerastase makes some great deep conditioning products. They can be bought at joybeauty.com or in a salon. They have one application that comes in a tiny bottle that you have to spray on and it does a great deep condition as well. I leave it on longer than they say to do so and they have a masque as well that works wonders too. If you can get out to a salon use that, at the very least you can go to that website and read about the product descriptions.
Best of luck,
K.
