You should go to dinner at Casa Bonita. It is a really neat atmosphere, although I remember the food not being good, but it's really about the atmosphere not the food on this one. Their website is www. casabonitadenver.com

Denver and Colorado are one of my favorite places to go on vacation!
There is the Denver Zoo, a great place to take kids. Wonderful art and history museums in downtown Denver that offer lots of interactive experiences. In the outlying suburbs you can go to Heritage Square for horseback riding. Elitches (I think it's a Six Flags Amusement park now) and Lakeside Amusement park are fun for everyone.
Colorado Springs offers the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (feed the giraffes! unforgettable), the Garden of the Gods (also great horseback riding), Seven Falls, Pike's Peak, The North Pole.
For a bit of a longer drive - head to Canon City and take them to the Royal Gorge, my favorite place on earth.
So much to do there, the hardest decision you'll have is where to go first! Have a great time.

they have a new name now but that will get you there....gives tons of ideas.
cheyenne mountain zoo over the denver zoo - feed the giraffes and the three times we've been there's been over the top amount of interactive things.
