Hi K.-
I am a speech therapist from Germany and I always liked the kind of games where reading is a part of it but not the main focus. So it kind of happens on the side and doesn't have the emphasis of "Now we are practicing to read or spell!". It could be a board game the family can play altogether or a Quiz where you draw cards and read out a question the others have to answer or a mystery book/card game where you have to read certain phrases/parts through a "colored plastic window" that makes the otherwise invisible writing visible. Also I like some computer learning games e.g. "Mia" (I don't know the exact name of the game), a mouse that goes on certain adventures and has to solve problems on the way or the "I spy" computer games. They support stamina, exact looking and of course reading or listening. Those are all important skills for successful reading!
