I have been looking for a good diaper bag for the last two years. I have two in diapers and cannot seem to find a good way to carry all our stuff around. Can you recommend a good bag you love and why?

There are small suit cases with rollers on them, my daughter uses one. And it will go in the stroller department as well. She also uses a makeup bag for a quick trip in a store and puts 2 diapers and the small size wipes and leave the larger bag in the car.

I am a diaper bag fanatic! I can't tell you how many I have just from looking for THE bag. But out of all of them I find myself going back to my JuJuBe Packabe and my Kate Spade. Both have all the pockets you could need to organize everything plus they have plenty of room!

I also went through multiple bags and finally ended up with the Fleurville. We cloth diaper and it's the only bag I can fit all my stuff in and still be able to find things when I need it. It's a bit pricier than other bags but I got a really good deal on mine on Amazon.com.

I went through about 3 or 4 before I found one I absolutely LOVED, the Ju Ju Be brand. They are pricey I won't lie to you, but they are made very well and have some neat features that I wasn't able to find in other bags. The 3 or 4 bags I had prior were cheap, and either zippers/snaps broke, they weren't big enough, the bag intself ripped due to my stuffing it full... Another plus with the Ju Ju Be bags that I like is that you can turn them inside out and wash them in the washer!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Skip Hop Duo! I got it when my little boy was just a few months old, and I've been using it ever since--and will start using it a lot more now that his baby brother is due to arrive! When I starting looking for it, I was uber-frustrated that the bag I had was so unorganized--I could never find what I needed when I needed it. The Skip Hop has tons of compartments--including two inside to separate different sized diapers. Another plus is that it has easily adjustable straps that attach it to your stroller handles. Plus, the main strap is long enough to wear across your chest if you're tired of keeping it on your shoulder.

I LOVE my backpack!!!! (lots of pockets, cupholders, easy to carry). We only use it now, when we have a big day (such as a theme park), but when I had one newborn, and one potty training, it was PERFECT!

Try looking at travel bags or backpacks instead of diaper bags to see if you can find something there.

Also, if and when one gets old enough to walk - buy a kid's small backpack that rolls and he can tote his own stuff. It made a world of difference for me and my kids loved to wheel it around for Mom!

Had 3 in diapers for a very short time!!!! Then 2 in diapers for quite a while. My favorite was from Lands End!

Those extra little pockets and velcro closure things and a "wet bag" inside....it was great! Used it for years---no horrible designer bag prices either.

When I was done, it was still usable---gave it to a women's shelter for someone there.

I am a minimalist. I carry a large purse and have a couple diapers and a small container of wipes. I have not needed anything else, even when I had 2 in diapers. Of coarse, I breast feed, so I never needed anything else.

A bag that I use on vacations for one child that carries alot and has a lot of compartments is the jeep diaper bag. I've only seen it in black and carries a lot. I found it either at babysrus or target don't remember which.

We also had a hard time finding one that accomadated our family's needs also. I finally went ahead and changed to a backpack. It has lots of pockets and a place to holdc a drink. It also has two big sections. It comes in really handy now that we have three! My husband is also not embarrassed to carry it around ;) I think we went to the sporting goods section of target. I hope this helps.

Hello! I love to sew, so I made my own diaper bag. I have 3 in diapers, so I needed something bigger and better than what I could find in a store. I added several pockets on the inside as well as the outside for snacks, clothes, burp rags, bottles etc. I can make one for you as well, if you'd like. Feel free to email me and we'll get you one made that you love!

Oh, sister!!! Was I in your boat!!! I think diaper bags are a waste of time!!! They are so deep, you cant find anything. I bought a "messenger" bag. The purpose of this bag is for carrying a laptop, pens, documents, large folders, etc, etc, etc. I have found that it is good for diapers, wipes, my wallet, keys, etc, etc, etc. I purchased mine at Target for around 20 bucks. I dont know if they still have them, but I have seen them at Staples, Office Depot, etc. I got mine in black. Its cloth so that I can throw it in the washer, plus, it doesnt show all the grime you set it down in on a daily basis.
I hope this helps you. I did away with a purse at my kids "need everything" age, and needed that big ol' bag, I have since graduated into a big purse!!! I kid around and tell my hub that one day, I'll get a small bag again!!!
Margaret :)

I love my bag from One Step Ahead...it holds everything I need for my twins plus its a back pack style for ease when dealing with my girls at the same time. Plus hubby can carry it and not look silly. With two I highly recommend it! Here is a quick link...

I have a Storksak Emily and I love it! It has two hidden, easily accessible bottle pockets on the outside and tons of inside pockets that hold lots of diapers, extra clothes, etc. The bag looks like a hobo sack type purse and not a diaper bag. I get compliments on it all the time from people who think it's a purse. The inside is all made of vinyl so if there is a spill you can easily clean it up.
