Diaper Pail Suggestions

We've got a Diaper Genie 2 for my daughter's room. Now that she's a toddler, we're having a STINKY problem :) The Genie 2 doesn't smell until you put in another diaper or change the bag. Her whole room stinks for about 10 minutes after. We're thinking of putting the Genie in the baby's rooms, since newborn poop isn't stinky yet. Any suggestions for other diaper pails? I'd really like one that uses regular trash bags, but am still worried about the smell.

What can I do next?

I have friends who have used every kind and we've discussed this before (I had the Diaper Dekor). I have found that they are not worth using after the age of 1. I'd just put it in the babies room and start throwing your oldest's diapers in an HEB bag in the garage that gets thrown out once a day.

we use the diaper champ and it doesnt stink until it is full..also if you use scented trash bags it helps curve the smell

We have a diaper champ and, even with that, we just take poopie diapers out to the big trash can.

We love the diaper champ since you can use regular trash bags versus buying refills.

Ours is centrallhy located in our great room and is not stinky at all.

However, my husband tells me that it is Horrible smelling when he has to throW the full trash bag out(I just make myself scarce when it's time for that!).

i have a clean air from first years. i love it! it uses regular trash bags and has charcoal air filters. so far really stinky poopies haven't been a problem at all. but make your hubby change the bag. you forget how many poopie diapers are in there :o)

I've really liked the Baby Trend Diaper Champ. It uses regular trash bags, and I've never had a stinky problem with it after using it with my two boys. And, I need to change out the trash bag only once a week.
I just don't throw poopy diapers in there. Instead, I've found that it perfectly holds a plastic grocery bag in the opening, which gives me easy access to putting the poopy diaper and dirty wipes in it while I'm changing my little one. I then tie it up and throw the smelly diaper in the big trash can in our garage.
