Okay, I have read every book imagineable on diet, nutrition and excersise. I know what to do...I just can't get myself to eat properly. From October of last year until July I have been working out 4-6 times a week, about an hour a day with a neighbor. Cardio and Strength. I just cannot eat properly and lose weight. I am thinking of joining Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, or somthing for help. Does anyone have any experience with any of these or suggestion for something that will work better?? I just have total eating issues.

What can I do next?

Hi L.,

Please check out my website that explains about the Cinch Inch-Loss Plan. It's 100% money-back guaranteed, and it has a very comprehensive computer tracking program that comes with the plan. You can put in what you eat each day, it calculates the carbs, fat, etc. It also has diet/menu planning on it and also you're linked into an online blog community of other Cinch users, for moral support, etc.
Here's the website link:

Sounds like you have the discipline down, given the exercise program. Weight Watchers is great. I've done it a couple of times with success. Another thing I would suggest, before you start WW, think about keeping a journal of your food intake and the emotions you are having at the times you eat. This may help you identify patterns that are hinder your success, and will make it easier to keep from falling into the same old traps.

Now....If I could only follow my own advice! LOL.

You've definitely hit he nail on the head...lifestyle choices are what's going to give you lasting success. Before you decide on which program you may chose, think about this...

In order for any of these programs to have a lasting affect, you'll need to follow them as a lifestyle to keep the results. If you're not willing to stay on NutriSystem, Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers for the duration, you're likely going to gain all the weight back, and then some...unless of course you're willing to make some behavior/lifestyle changes along the way.

Bottom line, it's not the program that's the issue, it's your relationship with food. And if you're anything like me, I exercise and for the most part eat well...but unless I exercise serious restriction, I can gain weight very easily.

Here's what I've found to be true...we're going to eat...and it's all about moderation. I've found a great program that allows me to eat and safely lose weight without deprivation or major changes in my behavior. I don't know if it will be for you or not, but you can private message me to learn more about it.

My best...if you chose any commercial program, it will work...but be prepared for the weight to come back if you don't change your relationship with food.

My Best,
C.

Weight Watchers is Great! Because they teach you how to make smart food choices and eat everyday food. Plus the weekly meetings are very inspirational and help keep you motivated to tackle on another week of watching what you eat. I did Weight Watchers after I had my first daughter to lose the last 5lbs that I just couldn't get off. It took about a month but it all came off and then I ended up losing about 3 more lbs after I stopped going to ww. It's a great program....I highly recommend it.

Hello,

I do Weight Watchers. I think it is one of the cheaper programs out there plus you don't have to eat their food like you do with most other programs. You can still eat exactly what you are eating now. Weight Watchers just teaches you portion control essentially. I think it is a great program and I have had a lot of success with it. Good luck! Let me know if you would like any more information.
