Call the hospital that you've decided to deliver at and find out which docs deliver there. Then you can make your choice from that list.
After researching the different prices for delivery at Baylor Greapevine ($4680) vs Harris Methodist HEB ($3500) and North Hills Hospital ($3038), I need a doctor in the HEB area. Any ideas? We don't have maternity insurance and are looking at how we are going to pay for this pregnancy and delivery. It is amazing the differences between hospital and doctor's prices...if we have a normal vaginal delivery, with doctor fees, hospital fees, anesthesia fees, lab work, etc...looks like we are going to pay around $10,000...on the low side. Any suggestions???

Have you checked out JPS? I didn't qualify but they take patients who's income exceeds medicaid requirements. We delivered at Baylor Grapevine and after all was said and done paid just about $10,000.
You are correct in your price estimation. I gave birth to my 3rd child with no insurance coverage and we paid right at $10,000. I delivered at Harris HEB and that is a truly wonderful hospital! My doctor was Dr. Mark E Scroggins

He gave me a price break for paying cash in advance. I paid a total of about $3000 for his services and he let me pay it out as long as it was paid by a certain time.
Dr. Gilda Cipriano or Dr. Parikh they are both at 1615 Hospital Pkwy. in Bedford-I love the office, staff and doctors. HTH.
