Why not?
in the way they were part of his life and if he likes them and you like them why not to let them know that they did a great job with your son.
a thank you note and a gift certificates.
:)
My son likes his daycare. His teacher are 3 very nice and patient old ladies. My son loves them. But he will soon been moved the older classroom at end of this month.
Do you usually give present to the daycare teacher? If you do, would you please share some idea about what will you give?

I give presents to both my daycare kids an their parents. I also give a little present to my son's swim teacher. Its just an extra thank you. As a daycare provider myself its NOT expected but when it happens it makes me feel really loved and appreciated :)
I find out what place a person likes and just get a gift card from there. I will also have my son make a thank you card.
Hi L.,
My son was going to a daycare provider when he was 2 years old for about a year. He really liked one of his teachers and she was so good with the kids. When I was looking at some things at a gift shop I saw these cute little window charm and it said #1 teacher it was very pretty. I bought two of them for the teachers that I felt did a great job with my son. They loved the gift and it made me feel very good to give them. I wanted them to know I appreciated them. I also gave a gift to a teacher who only took care of my son for a week when his regular class was closed. I bought her a key chain and small photo album. I believe if you feel like giving just go with it. I wish you well!!
As a teacher I can say most teachers appreciate either things they can use in the classroom, or something that is consumable (gift cards etc.) vs. another mug or nicknack. The felt stuff I sell is really popular with daycare/preschool teachers - not to advertise or anything but just sharing, it really is and something they'd be thrilled with! Otherwise I'd say Starbucks or movie certificate or something. Or a hand made card is always treasured!
Karen C is correct, we gave our preschool teacher a coffee mug with our child's artwork on it and she uses it as a pencil holder on her desk... it's really personal and I think she really appreciated it. We got it at www.sharemykidsart.com which is nice because it also lets you store, organize and share your child's art. Good luck!
