Do You Go to This PED???

My son was seen by Dr. Bourland while he was in the NICU at the hospital and then after was seen at the clinic where Dr. Bourland continued his care. She is wonderful with first time parents and kids. I wish that we could have followed her but insurance wouldnt let us. Hope this helps

Hi! I do not go to any of these drs but I take my children to Child Care Associates, we see Mrs. Karen Walker (Nurse Practioner) she is wonderful and listens to everything you have to say, I always get same day appointments with no problems. The office staff is wonderful! There is also Dr. Donald Hilliard and Dr. Belcher, they are good drs to.

My children see Dr. Chintapalli and I really love her. You can get same day appointments if you call in the morning although it is sometimes with another doctor or the nurse practitioner. I have never had a bad experience with anyone I have seen there they are all very nice. Hope this helps! L.

The only one I went to because we had to was Xavier Cortada and I was not pleased. First I couldn't really understand his accent. So most of the visits I just sat there and shook my head. Second, everytime we went he have us a book of papers talking about everything that could happen. Yes I know you are thinking that's good but when he makes you take them when you three children three different times it gets tetious. Third the waiting room is just a large room (my regular ped office has a well side and sick side).
The doctor my children see is Dr. Gulde he is in the medical center if you want his number send me a message. My oldest has been going to him since he was a baby. The only reason we had to go to Dr. Cortada is b/c my husband got lay off and we had to get on Medicaid and he was the only doctor in the area. Not a good time for us.

I have 3 kids. Used dr jardan a while back. Alittle older than what i prefer. He hurt my son so bad when he took his staples out cause his hands were shaking! That office was always way busy then as well. Have not heard of the others.but there are a few other docs you may want to look into. Right now we use dr brooks hagee at ne pediatrics, off of 410/village drive - thatis right by ne babtist. I actually like all the docs at that office. If you call the same day for a sick appt it is usually booked and they ask to put you the next day. But for example yesterday my two youngest had a bad rash and i asked if i could see anybody else and they got me in with a pa. So just comunicate and you'll get good results. Another doctor i really like was dr nadine liu, she is a family practice/pediatrician located off toepperwein. And they are great at that office as well, it's a small practice but they are open late i think till like 7 or 8. Me and my husband have both been there also. Then the other doctor i liked was dr pauli. I think he is off stone oak somewhere. Too far for us.let me know if you have any other questions! Good luck!

I used to go to San Antonio Ped,on Walzem only because Dr.Jardan is a wonderfl doctor, however my kids kept getting sick from the office, the people who work there are slow and the wait....well do not get me started on that lol. I just found another Ped doc that is very close to were we live now and its a small practice excepting new patients....

Dr Beauchamp, The office is located in the Alamo Heights area right on Broadway and just past the sunset intersection.

I actually have Xavier Cortada and he is one of the best Peds here in SA. My boys are ages 2&3 and have been with him all along. I never have to wait to see him, if they are sick that day they take us in right away. He is independant. But accepts all types of insurances. Good luck, I know how important it is to find a good reliable, patient Ped. It took me a few until I found our Ped.
