Very good news!!
My news isn't "mine", but SO happy that I will soon have three babies in my life from three different friends, all in their late 30's. New life is exciting and my daughter is anxious to snuggle each one.
Do you have some good news you'd like to share? Please share it, I'd love to hear it.
I have some great news to share with all of you! I had a Breast MRI to rule out Cancer yesterday, and found out today I don't have cancer!!! I feel so incredibly blessed!
**This scare I had was mostly the result of being 53 and only ever having one mammogram before and it was over 10 years ago!
Please learn from my lesson and be sure to have a Mammogram when you turn 40 (or as recommended by your doctor)and every one to two years after that. I was told by the Breast Specialist I saw that 1 out of 8 women will get breast cancer. Please take care of yourself and make sure you're here for your family who really needs you to be here!!!

Lucky2Bee, I am so happy to hear your good news, I remember last week when you posted about going to have the MRI. So glad to hear the results were negative. As a breast cancer survivor myself, I'm going to add on to your recommendations and tell women if you're not done having kids yet, get your baseline done at 35. I did. You won't need another til you're 40 (unless you actually have cancer). Don't chance that you'll be pregnant or still breastfeeding at 40 and miss it.
I do have good news to share - my daughter has been accepted to her top two college choices, and the private gave her an amazing scholarship which will make the cost of attendance equal to a state university, so she will be able to choose without having to consider the cost, an incredible gift.
That's wonderful!!! Awesome news for a relaxing holiday now!
I actually have been wanting to share some good news, but I thought no one would bother to read. Since I see others have responded to yours...I've been 6 classes away from my Associates Degree and I'm finally going to go back to school! I'll be getting my books next week and start mid January! I'll complete my sophomore year as my brother (9 years younger than me) completes his freshman year in college.
I'm excited to get out of the house and excited to transfer out of the community college next year!
That is good news! My MIL was diagnosed with breast cancer last week. She saw the surgeon yesterday, and will be going for surgery next month. He assured her that they caught it early and it should be no problem.
What a relief to know there's no cancer, yay!!!!!
My good news, although bittersweet, is we got a very unexpected Christmas card from my mother today in the mail with $500 in it. Will come in handy with the move and also to buy a few more gifts for our son.
God is Good! May you truly enjoy the holidays now!
Good news for my sis, she got a good offer on her house she has been trying to sell.
yaaay for you! good job getting it done.
i have some good news, although not as great as yours (in my little world, pretty awesome though) Today is my last day of work for a week! i get the entire week of christmas OFF. - it is still sinking in. it's been a long time since i've had a vacation.
and the great thing is, politics and drama are really kicking up - and I DON'T CARE!! i'm off after today, and they can all kiss mah butt! woo hoo!!!
That is the BEST news!
And GREAT advice about mammograms. We women need to collectively ignore the advice that we can wait until 50 to start or that even 2 years is ok. Cause thats what I did-I waited two years between and had breast cancer. IF I would have gone every year like I had set out to do it would have been caught before it became invasive. Thank goodness that it was small yet...who knows the outcome had I waited another year-or GOD FORBID-until I was 50 I am 46 now. Its a devastating disease that has nothing 'pink' to its nature. I was shocked to discover how truly horrible it is and just how much it affects the women it touches. I am beyond happy that you don't have to cross over into this world Lucky2Bee.
Awesome news for you! My news is just that I am incredibly blessed by my husband and family. I couldn't ask for a better family. We say we love eachother every day, and show it constantly. I am incredibly impressed by my kids and the wonderful, fantastic people they are. I LOVE being their mom.
Good news indeed! =D.
Great news!!! I am sure that you must be relieved.
That's wonderful news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is AWESOME news!! As a breast cancer survivor myself, in addition to getting regular mammograms, I hope everyone makes sure they do self-exams too! That's how I found my lump at 35. You have to be your own medical advocate!!
so happy for you. i really don't have good news to share but happy for those experiencing happy times.
So glad to hear that. What a nice Christmas present!!
