While having girl talk it seems as though a lot of mother's give the advice of wearing a bra to bed when sleeping in order to prevent saggy breast.
How true is this advice, let me hear your results? LOL!
Thank you ladies for taking the time post! My question is if we all are not wearing our bra to bed how are we going to know if the myth works!!!!!!!! LOL

Ugh...now way!! I take that thing off the moment I walk through the door. I NEVER wear a bra at home. (Unless someone is over.) I don't wear a bra the majority of time, have big boobs, have been pregnant...and no sagging. I think it's genetic, mostly.

Hell no! Bras are evil! I take it off as soon as I can when I get home. Hubby loves to see them jiggle so he doesn't mind that they are a little saggy.

The first thing I do when I get off work is lose that brazierre and let the girls be free.
I'm almost 55, nursed 2 kids, and still have perky boobs.
NO BRA in bed except for when it's a prop for spice.

No way do I wear a bra to bed! That is so insanely uncomfortabe.
Wearing a bra at night does nothing to help prevent sagging breasts at all. It's all genetics.
Your breasts are going to sag or not because of pregnancy. Breastfeeding doesn't make them sag, it's the pregnancy. The sagging is just delayed because they have milk in them.
And like Lucky said, getting those muscles good and strong will help keep them perkier ;)

And yes, I breastfed three kids an average 18 months each.
My "girls" still look fabulous (one of my favorite features actually) but that's probably because I wasn't that big to begin with. I was a small B and now I'm almost a C. There's less to sag, I guess :)

Heck no! My girls gotta breath!
I have heard people say that, almost as a wives tale, but never until I was an adult.
I've been sleeping without a bra all my life, except when my son was a new baby, I slept in a sportsbra or I woke up engorged.
I had cute high breasts until I breastfed. Now, I have cute ones, just not as high ;-)

Yes, I do. I wear my old nursing bras and sports bras to bed (or a very tight fitting tank top). Not b/c I worry about them sagging, but b/c I hate rolling over and being woken up b/c I am squishing one in my armpit! They are seriously all over the place unless I keep them contained.

Only when I was breastfeeding the first time. I don't think it matters if you wear one to bed or not, gravity wins each time. They aren't "hanging" when your lying down :)
Besides, I like to be comfortable when I go to sleep.

Now, no. I have natural perky 34DD's and no issues with saggy. I think it is gene related because every female on my mom's side is the same, large, perky, no sag. Thanks Mom!

I never could.
It's just too uncomfortable.
I have a big chested friend (she wears something like a G cup since high school and she's never had a boob job) and she says it's more comfortable for her to have the support - she wears a leisure bra at night.

Never my normal daytime bras. That would be uncomfortable.
But I do have those very soft (no wore) comfort type bras (look like Genie bras--the kind wittle bitties CAN actually use as a "bra"!) that I do wear usually to sleep at night. It helps things---uh---stay put!
I'm a DDD and not too saggy at 48! I think there's something to it. ;)

Not a chance in hell of me wearing a bra to bed. Ever. Under any circumstances.
I used to whip it off the second I walked in the door after work, but after breastfeeding 2 kids, I now wear it usually until I go to bed, but never, ever to sleep in. I take it off when I'm napping on the weekends, even!

No, that is a fallacy. Gravity will pull them down through out life. There isn't much one can do to prevent it. But wearing a bra during the day will help support them and keep them.....perky...lol.

I hate wearing a bra, so as soon as I get home I take mine off. They are going to fall one day, now that I'm almost 40, I've accepted it. I'd rather be comfortable, I'm not having surgery.
My 17 year old daughter will only take hers off in the shower, doesn't get that from me. She is much larger than I, but she just likes the feeling. I want freedom.
I have heard that, and I had one co-worker who only slept on her back, with pillows on both sides of her and bra on, only used silk sheets (because that causes less wrinkles on skin she claimed), she was a health nut in food, but a smoker and loved to sun bath, go figure?

No way, not even while pregnant. I guess if you have huge boobs and just used one of those bras that is like a sports bra then I can understand but like a Victoria's secret? No way! I use a bra to give me a nice shape, I don't have a large chest. And nursing does not change your breasts, pregnancy does.

There was a time when I didn't but after having surgery on one boob for cancer they are a bit lopsided and it's easier to wear a bra to even them out. If you do buy the right size bra you don't have it digging in or constricting you so you can't breathe.
My daughter wears one to bed because she is endowed and if she doesn't she finds them around her neck.
Please all of you who do take off the bra please put it back on when you do go to the store. There is nothing worse than someone who has taken off that bra flopping around or them hanging down around their waist.

Yes I wear an underwire bra to bed most nights. Sometimes a tank with a shelf bra. I have done this since i was 17 (now 36) when I couldn't stand the way my new size D's felt. I have only met one other person who does this. The results for me? I'm going to say fabulous. I'm a DD have nursed two babies and had multiple pregnancies. My figure is not perfect, but for their size, the ladies are staying up good. I still wear string bikinis, and can with just a bit of support look like there is no sag. I am often asked if I had a boob job (which i have not).

I have always worn a bra to bed - basically I take it off to shower. I'm large chested (32F - used ot be much larger) and it is uncomfortable to have them all over the place.
My breasts are disgustingly saggy. Well, maybe saggy isn't the right word. They are still full and non saggy on the bottom, but loss all mass on top from breastfeeding (I claim BF, because they were fine after my first two pregnancies in which I didn't BF - the last two, where I did BF did them in), so there's a lot of loose skin there.

I heard this a long time ago, when I was about 11, so I have worn a bra to bed since.
All throughout my teens, twenties, and thirties I had pretty perky ones.
Now that I have breastfed two there is a little saggage. But I think I look pretty OK.
So, I dunno, good genes or good bra??
All I can say is that I have done it for so long I don't feel at all comfortable without one.

Only when I'm working out in the morning. OTW I take a shower first thing.
As a FF, though, I wear an underwire swimsuit top to bed. Started last year. TOO many times of needing to leap out of bed and head to the ER with my son in our PJs, and then living in the hospital for a few months. He's a lot better now, but it's so much more COMFY to keep the girls in line at night!
Sagging? Please refer to the FF (ddd 1/2d). I'd be kicking them when I walked :p
