we don't have this type of vaccum, we have a shark, but once ours was clogged and it turns off after over heating, which is what yours is doing, you definitely have a clog, just have to find where it is. we have to clean out our filters by hand once a week, meaning wash them and let them air dry completely, which helps. When ours was severly clogged, over heating and not picking up, the clog was inside the vaccum, closer to where the dirt and what not is sucked into the vaccum, I am not sure how yours is set up but you could probably call the manufacturer if necessary. good luck!
