I need a carseat for my 2 year old and I hear that these are the pretty safe. They are so darn expensive though. I was wondering if anyone has one they no longer need. Due to safety concerns, I would rather pass if you have been in any kind of accident with the carseat, Please let me know what model you have, how old it is, what condition it is in, and how much you would be willing to sell it to me. I dont have one to sell but the Britax Boulevard are the best. They have side wings to protect against any side-impact crashes. This is a relatively new feature. They are big but I think the best on the market. They cost anywhere from $240-299.
I'm sorry, I don't have one, but you will love that carseat. It is well worth the money, because the weight limit is higher than most seats and you don't have to replace it until you child is 40 pounds and ready for the booster. (I think that's when they go to the booster; is that right?)
I also am just posting to say that I love the Britax Marathon (goes up to 65 pounds). I have one for both my boys, 2 and 4 months. I bought it also from albee baby. Why I like it there, not only free shipping but no tax either!!! I went with Britax on the recommendation of a firefighter. Britax has much more safety features (more than required). It's the only one he uses. Also, note that car seats have expiration dates, so if you plan to buy a used one ask what that date is. It should be on the side of the car seat.

I have a roundabout that I would be willing to sell, but if your child is already 2 he/she might be too heavy or tall. I had to buy a bigger model (the marathon) because my daughter is quite tall.

I don't have one to sell but there is one called the Fisher Price Safe Voyage that is made by Britax but is half the price. Also, they are all safe, all carseats meat the standards. Some are easier to use than others, but none are unsafe. Check out car-safety.org for ratings and questions. It's a great website.

This really is to confirm that Britax carseats are GREAT!! I do have one that I will be selling, but my son is 2.5 and your child is 2, so he/she will outgrow it shortly. The Roundabout (the one I have), I believe only goes up to 40 lbs. Look at the Regent. I think someone is selling theirs on Craigslist right now!! Good luck.
