I don't know what you're financial situation is but I am with TXU as well. I told them that my children are on Medicaid, which they are, and they have a low income assistance plan. My bill still runs about 300 a month but I think these days you are going to get that anywhere. So now when I get my bills I have a low income assistance deduction and a Customer appreciation deduction on there as well totaling about a 50 dollar deduction. It's not much money compared to what your bill is but it helps. Also, be sure and watch your bill. They sent me a bill one time for 1400 dollars and there was no way that my bill could have been that high. I called them and complained and at first I didnt' get anything done. You have to talk to a supervisor. So when I did that I only ended having to pay 150 dollars when I got off the phone. I don't know how that happened unless they were really just trying to put one over on me. Anyways, to answer your question I was thinking about changing over too but it's just too much of a hassle. I wasn't sure that my new electric would be on before they cut my current one off. I have never even heard of the electric company you're talking about though. I hope everything works out for you.
