I live in Lehi and I have been taking my daughters to a pediatrician that was reccomended by my midwife when I had my second daughter. Im not too fond of the doctors. I know there has to be some amazing pediatricians somewhere in the area of Lehi, Highland or Draper. Can anyone refer me to someone they really like. Please let me know! THANKS A BUNCH!

Mine isn't terribly close, but very much worth the drive! He is in Holladay next to the Birth and Family center), so it would be about 30 min or so (depending on where in Lehi you are), for us it is about 45min. We stuck with him after moving out here because he is exactly what we want in a ped. Unlike so many drs he doesn't push antibiotics, is very much open to (and suggestive of!) natural remedies and helping the body work for itself, not just trying to medicate everything away. In fact, I think we have visited Dave's Nutrition or Good Earth more often that we have visited a pharmacy in the past 10 years! : ) And with 7 kids, that says a lot!

I really like my pediatrician, Dr. Mumford of Utah Valley Pediatrics in American Fork next to the hospital. He actually listens to you. If you feel like you want to take a different approach he is willing to work with you. When my baby was born, Dr. Wilcox (from the same office) worked with us as well and seemed extremely friendly and personable.
I LOVE Dr. Vargo with Alpine Pediatrics in Pleasant Grove. She spends as much time as you need in the room. She really listens and gives a lot of advice. I found her by trial and error. I took my daughter to several pediatricians before I found Dr. Vargo last year. My daughter hasn't needed to be seen by a pediatrician in a while so I'm not sure if Dr. Vargo still works at that one -- maybe she transferred to the new one in Lehi.
I absolutely love my pediatrician. I have even convinced my sister who lives up in Morgan to come to my doctor for her kids. They return calls any time of day, have separate floors for sick and well kids, and my 4-year old daughter absolutely loves her doctor (you can tell the feeling is mutual). After struggling with finding the right doctor for my baby, we were suggested to Dr. Marcie Conner at Utah Valley Pediatrics in American Fork, right next to the hospital. All she does is look at my kid and she knows his name, she doesn't have to look at a chart. She is personable and has a great background. She started out as a Dietitian (so she is great at diets for the kids) and then she became a nurse practitioner and then finally an actual doctor. She has caught more things and been able to identify more things that my son was struggling with than any other doctor. My child has many medical needs and she was the top of the list that my child's surgeon recommended when he found out all the "fun" I was having with my previous doctor.

I used to live in Lehi and we loved our pediatrician we had down there. He is in American Fork right by the hospital. His name is Dr. Michael Whiting. Great doctor, cute office, loved the nurses, and when they give shots they have two nurses do it to get it over with as quickly as possible! I was sad when we moved and had to find a new pediatrician. Hope that helps!
We have the very best pediatrician ever! His name is Paul Lei and he has a really nice new office in Draper just off of I-15 and Bangerter. Hi A., I LOVE my pediatrician!! We live is American Fork and that is where is office is--so nice and close for you. Dr. John Weipert ###-###-#### 476 West 50 North American Fork. His office is near the Target/ new Olive Garden in American Fork just off of Main Street. I have 5 boys and we started there with my first. Personally I think he's great. I have dealt with a lot of pediatrician's in the area because I've have had twins twice and they have spent time in the NICU and there are times you have to deal with the Dr. on call. I take mine to Dr. Michael Whiting in American Fork. He now has a Nurse/practitioner that works with him, I've forgotten her name, but she is awesome. Both of them really like kids and make an effort to get to know them.
After two kids (one that underwent open heart surger at six months) we have splent plenty of time at the dr. office. We really do love our pedetrician, at Willow Creek Pediatrics in draper. We have had experience with most of the staff and it has all been good. Our primary pediatrician is Daniel Stampfl. The clinic offers extended hours now after 7:00 and they have a main office in Salt Lake that you can go to on Satuday and Sunday if it is an urgent matter. Try them out we certainly have been happy.

Wow! it sounds like you got a lot of great responses. I absolutely love our Dr and his practice. It is the Utah Valley Pediatrics. We have Dr. Mumford which was mentioned below. Dr. Marcie Conner is also in this practice. They are all so great - meaning any of the Dr's in this practice are awesome. And, they have great after hours programs with their own Dr's as well as a few others. So, we know we can always get medical help whenever we need it. Good luck!

Our son was born 10 weeks early at 1 lb 3 oz and we asked his NICU Dr to recommend someone for us. He matched Dr Feindt and Dr Sampfl (sp?) to us at Willowcreek and we just drew Dr Feindt out of a hat. She's terrific - AND- her nurse Danielle is AWESOME. They truly care about your child and call back ASAP. They've given special attention to our son for two years now, even allowing us to go through the back door to avoid the other sick children when my son was a tiny 4 lb baby on Oxygen - I couldn't be happier!
