My three sons run hot, my daughter is neutral. The boys wear shorts and t-shirts year 'round, as does my husband and my father-in-law. My oldest son (15) just stopped the year-round shorts habit in the past year and now that he's a "hipster" is fond of wearing colored jeans, collared long-sleeve shirts and sweaters every day, and he wears PJ pants at night. It's partially a fashion thing with him but I think that because he's emaciated (6 ft tall, 135 lbs) he feels cooler now because he literally has almost nothing insulating him. It'll be interesting to see if he starts running hot again when he puts on some weight. I'm the only one in the house who is always, always cold. My hands, feet and nose are always cool to the touch so I like having warm kids to snuggle with and warm me up.
