Bowling!!
Goofy, active, & fun!! Here we have Lucky Strikes... a hip bowling alley that serves dinner & good drinks.
My hubby and I are going on a "double date" with my BIL and SIL on Friday. We both have children the same age, and we got sitters! I want it to be fun and not the same ol' movie date.
What kind of things could we do?
Thanks ladies!

Karaoke, mini golf, comedy club
Do you have Dave and Busters there? It's an adult arcade and it's really fun! Bowling is a cute idea, we have a Lucky Strike too and it's fun. Even if you just went to dinner someplace new and funky and then went to...gasp...A BAR! ;) We don't go to those places anymore I don't think and sometimes I miss just sitting around and having a beer in a stinky old dive bar!
HI,
This is the season for fairs. Have a kid free fair nite like when you were teenagers.
You could go through Chinatown in Seattle and sample all the exotic foods, take a ferry ride to one of the Islands like Bainbridge standing on the deck the whole time.
You could get concert tickets. Seattle is a giant wonderland full of great things to do.
Ice skating, seriously! One of my granddaughters had her birthday party at a rink, and the grown-ups had so much fun getting out there on the ice, made everyone feel like kids again : )
go carts and mini golf are fun. Or bowling or karaoke or a bar with live music or if you have a nice local winery, doing a wine tasting. Or if you have a nice dinner place that offers dance lessons at it - we have some that do tango lessons or swing dancing lessons. Have fun!
Bowling is always fun and you can laugh and chat
Grab dinner, some board games and sit in a park and enjoy an evening eating and playing...don't forget some candles and candlesticks!! Inexpensive, creative and fun!
We love double dating with friends...it is always so much fun. Have a great night out and let us all know what you did!
Bowling
Wine tasting at a local wine bar
Comedy show
Check w/your chamber of commerce to find any activities in your area like a Greek festival, garlic festival etc.
Do you have any exotic restaurants in your area?
Laser Tag?
Go see a play
WE are doing a double date in a few weeks with some friends. We are all taking a cooking class together (at Central Market). We get a good dinner out of it, something different and a little wine. We are excited about the idea.
Check the seafair web sites for activities.. Check into concerts on the pier in Seattle or concerts in parks.
bowling sounds like fun. I like the idea of an adult comedy club too.
I was going to say a bar, or bar/restaurant like Chilis or TGIF.
Musical concert? What rock band is in town?
How bout going miniature golfing or bowling?
I like the other ideas of mini golf, bowling, laser tag, etc . . . something competitive can be a lot of fun! You can either go couple against couple, or men vs. women, and everyone will get into trying to beat the other team. Have fun!!!
Make the trip to Southcenter or Covington (I recommend Covington) and go to MIZU. It's a teppanyaki place (whre they cook in front of you and put on a show) It's a total blast and breaks the routine of a normal sit down dinner.
