A used Bob. Seriously - they last for years and sell used for about $300. So while you're looking for the Schwinn in shops, also look on Craigslist for a used Bob just in case!
Hello,
I have a one month old and a two year old and am in the market for a double running stroller. I would love to get the "Bob" but cannot spend $700 on a stroller even if it is the smoothest double running stroller out there. I was looking at the Schwinn Turismo, but cannot find it in any stores and am the kind of person that likes to see things before buying them. Can anyone recommend one that they have and really like that cost around $300?

I have the Baby Trend double jogger that you can find in the One Step Ahead catalog (and website.) It was under $200 and I LOVE it! I use mine for my 2 yr old and 4 month old (but my 5 yr old could also use it if I wore my baby in a carrier.)
Hmm....I just tried to find it and they are not showing it for sale right now...don't know what the deal is, but this is it...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE it and it has great reviews, so I am not sure what's up...maybe out of stock, or maybe they are planning to raise prices??
Used bob on craigslist will cost about 300!

My friend has a Phil and Ted and she loves it! I know you asked for $300 and this one is the middle mark. It's about $500, so not as low as you asked, but not as high as a Bob. I just thought I'd mention it in case.
I also like Everly's suggestion to look for a used Bob. I have a Bob, but in the single. I love it! Congrats on your running! It's the best hobby I've ever taken up. :-)
I have a schwinn although I cann't think of what model it would be. It has the fixed front wheel, breaks to use "rollerblading' I know not reccomended. Anyhow I love it! Best purchase ever. I don't mind the fixed wheel but I can see how others might say swivel wheel is better.
Oh and Schwinn and baby trend are basically the same company.
We bought a used Valco Baby Twin Tri Mode on Craigslist and really love it. People always stop us and ask about the stroller. We paid about $350 on craigslist and it had probably been used 5 times. They just wanted it out of the house for more space. Only problem was that I got lucky and was the first one to offer to buy at their price. They got about 15 other inquiries in the first day and a lot were lowball offers. So I'd say, know your pricing if you're going the Craigslist route. These strollers sell fast since no one wants to pay the crazy $700 retail prices!
