Double Stroller Recommendation - Denver,CO

I am seeking opinions about double strollers- what do you have? do you love it? hate it? Can you push/turn it easily? Does it fit through standard-size doorways? We have a double sit n stand, and my husband hates it. It is not my favorite stroller but I use it when I need to. We also have a single BOB Revolution and it wasn't until we owned a really aggravating stroller that we truly appreciated the BOB.

So we're thinking about getting a BOB Duallie. The price tag is steep, way more than we ever intended to spend on a stroller, but we want something comfortable for our children, easy to maneuver, and most importantly something that will make us not want to buy another double stroller! We are going to Disney World soon and want something easy to travel with and comfortable enough for them to nap in and ride in every day for almost a week.

I thought I maybe wanted a bike trailer/jogging stroller, but after doing some research, I think I've decided I like the features of storage (on the handlebars and underneath) and reclining seats. Thanks in advance for your help!

So What Happened?

Well after much research and even some disappointment, I realized that although the 2011 Bob Revolution Duallie was released in February, the carseat adapter/snack tray wont be available until the summer, and the other accessories are out of stock as well. It isn't a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but I'm not an impulse buyer (usually) and to me this screams "it wasn't meant to be."

I checked about renting a stroller at Disney, and they look even more uncomfortable than our sit and stand! I even saw a place to rent a Bob Revolution Duallie, for $70 a DAY!

Thanks for your advice ladies! I appreciate the help.

I have a double, but it's far from a luxury one! I have heard from several sources that you can rent strollers from several companies (Disney included, but I think they carry only one type) that rent out brand-name strollers. You could check that out online- it might be worth it to have one there for several reasons: you could try it out to see if you like it enough to buy one, you wouldn't have to worry about it getting bumped around on the plane, etc.

I purchased a Phil & Ted's Sport with a doubles kit after my 2nd child was born. I am constantly stopped to ask where I got it as this stroller is easy to push and fits thru doorways and shopping aisles. Check out their website-it's definitely an investment but it's been our best one yet.

We have a sit-n-stand and it is hands downs the best double stroller we've used. We tried a couple other types, but this one is the lightest, thinnest, has decent storage, and folds down the flattest. It is not, however, designed for comfort/long naps. My kids love it, but if you are getting it specifically for naps, another stroller would be better.
The Graco duo glide is popular & comfortable, but it is big, bulky, and heavy to push. Disney World may have comfy strollers for rent (for a pretty penny). Craigslist is a good place to look for doubles. Good luck!

We have a BOB single and double......it's worth the money. I tried to find something less expensive but by the time I spent money on other strollers that I didn't like for one reason or another I would have been better off just buying the BOBs right off the bat.
