Hello, I'm trying to have a mostly natural childbirth and am planning to switch to Baylor Downtown under the care of either Dr Crochet or Dr Sandra Brothers.
I'm looking for a doula who is experienced, knowledgeable, and comes highly recommended. I'm planning to labor at home for a while before heading to the hospital.
Would also like some ideas on what are the things to look for/ask while interviewing doulas.
If you have any recommendations/suggestions and could share your experience, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for all the support.
I used Anna Marie Nelson with professionaldoula.com She was wonderful! My husband was really comfortable with having her in the room, and she was not intrusive at all but very very helpful!
Delilah Ray is wonderful! She attended our birth on 11/29, we were a birth center birth that ended up with a hospital transfer. I know she will also go to Baylor downtown.
